When using a cubed Ambo’s Pride to apply Rend, what elemental damage bonus helps to increase the damage?

I think it depends on the rune you have selected for your Rend.

Generally recommended, from what I have seen, is Physical since the rune chosen usually uses it, or is “non-elemental” (which means Physical as I understand it.)

The comments above are correct. Ambos only effects the application and how fast rend is applied. You always want to match you elemental damage to the rend rune you have chosen. In all cases it will be physical unless your not worried about what is proven to be best. Now in the case you don’t use a rend rune it would default to the base ability which also happens to be physical so your covered either way. I run no rune rend all the time running keys since the damage required is so low and it allow for more speed abilities.
