I have 1650 out of 1600 shards needed to sacrifice to unlock AD.
The sacrifice button is greyed out.
AD is only unlocked when you have purchased EVERYTHING else on the Alter, and it cost nothing to select. If you are still on 1600 sacrifice, you have something else to unlock first.
I was able to unlock it and there was still one node I didn’t take, the icon appeared so I thought I had it, but it wasn’t active until I took that passive and also later come back to click the “unlock” button.
Which node didn’t you take, when it unlocked? Out of curiosity.
Edited to add: Either way, hes trying to make a sacrifice for something that doesn’t require a sacrifice. I’m not 100% certain you need the 3 potion buffs in order to unlock AD, but the rest I imagine you do.

While its not super clear you can tell what nodes you haven unlocked by looking for nodes above the dark paths. As they light up when unlocked
