Maybe they don’t want us to play non season?
I haven’t played much in non season but I would at least do it for a while if the Altar became an option.
Maybe they just don’t want anyone to play Diablo 3 anymore so you can play Diablo 4 instead? Blizzard got to sell D4 cosmetics after all.

I d think its deliberately not available to attract players in weaker themed seasons. Also risking some D4 player base return to D3 NS. Some have very mature D3 accounts.

Well, this season I am sitting out regardless of whether Altar and Fissures are in NS or not.
They could have kept me on as a player but instead making D4 a better game than D3 to make it worthwhile for all players to make the switch, they choose to nerf the D3 experience when it mattered the most.
But why am I not surprised, the US prefers to ban TikTok instead of creating a better alternative. Can’t blame their companies doing similarly in other areas.

This decsion and the season 30 nerf is really uncalled for and speaks volume about blizzard. They could have brought altar to non season and not do uncalled nerfs like that to corpse spider WD to show they care about player sentiments. They could have ended d3 support on a positive note that leaves a happy customer base. Its made me disappinted that i am not going to buy any d4 dlcs. I had bought d4 but that will be my last purchase. Deeply disappinted.

If you have all of the stash and cosmetic rewards from seasons there really isn’t enough incentive to start over imo. The altar certainly isn’t enough to make me play a season.
But not having an alter on non seasonal may not be enough for me to do that either. As you miss out on major QoL features. Both options just seem designed around inconvenience.

Yep, this is where I’ve ended up.
I fired up C&C Remastered last night before bed… I’m enjoying playing a mission per night to wind down.

just get over what ever reason you keep coming up with to not give us the alter in non season already Blizz, is it really that big of a deal? might keep some of us playing between seasons, you do know we pretty much just quit right and your hopes we will play 4 or one of your other games is a pipe dream. people like what they like and if that wasn’t o you wouldn’t be remastering old games. you would rather we play 2 than just give us what we want.

We 2 seasons in now. Altar isnt coming to NS. Devs moved on to d4 and they working on the expan etc
