Altar movement speed question

Hi guys. I didn’t play S28 and had a question on Alter mechanic which will apparently go live in future season and non-season.

It’ss regarding Altar bonus for movement speed node. It mentions added 25% movement bonus on top of paragon/gear max of 25%. I read somewhere the word “uncapped” movement speed with this.

Does this mean (1) I can add additional movement speed, on top of 25% from paragon, 25% from Altar bonus, other bonus from items like boots and Traveler’s ring?

Or does it mean (2) you just get 25% bonus on movement speed on altar, on top of pre-existing 25% cap with paragon and gear combined?

I presume it’s the latter (2) but just asking. Thanks!

In S28 it worked the way that we could have 25% from altar and 25% MS from paragon/items, so it was 50%.

In S29 however we have “uncapped” MS from paragon +MS on items (so this was not capped to 25% anymore - items + paragon)

After patch 2.7.7 it probably will be 10% from altar + at least minimum of 25% from items/paragon (hoping that they will uncap items + paragon, but no mention of this yet)

It actually IS capped, but to 50% - instead of previous 25%.
Open your inventory, then click “Details” on the left of your weapon, scroll down to “Adventure” section, and hover your mouse over “Movement speed”.

Actually capped to 25% from items plus 25% from paragon.
You can’t stack pore than 25% from items to save paragon for mainstat.

Thanks guys all for helpful responses. Figured as much.

I am just trying to figure out while salvaging my inventory for clutters, whether +movement speed is now a BIS roll in all boots for Non-Seasons.

Sounds like it won’t be. Maybe for Seasons with paragon cap if it continues.

Really appreciate it.

Actually no idea how the 25% from items, 10% from altar and unknown % from paragon will play together. We’ll see tomorrow in the PTR how it works.
