After unlocking “Anointed” - the “items have no level requirement” ability, whether crafting an item from recipe or opening from a pack from the PTR vendor, all the items show level requirement 1 and can be equipped on character, but cannot be equipped on Follower, despite the item showing it is Level 1.

I just encountered the same condition after finally being able to afford the Armament Pack from Djank Mi’em, the PTR Vendor.
Trying to equip Nemesis Bracers and Broken Crown with level 1 requirement on Follower failed with ‘insufficient required level’ message.
Because no where on the Alter does it say your follower gains the abilities. Much like the gem of ease, the level reduced only works for the 1 using it. Your follower has no points put in the alter.
Think of “Anointed” as a character sided gem of ease.
The items themselves still have a real lvl requirement, you just can’t see it due to the alter. If you droped a item for someone who doesn’t have the point, they would still see the real level. Same deal with your follower.
