So I’m finding this weirdness - all the monsters are connected with chains. I’m in T16 and I went into the Fields of Misery to test a new combination of skills and everything looked fine until I started attacking. Then everything took a red hue and all the monsters got connected with chains and were immensely harder to kill. I went into a GR and it was the same thing in the GR! I’ve never seen anything like it. I shut the whole game and program down, reloaded it, and it was the same thing again.
Did I miss an update or something?
Does something change in S21 after the season is completed (that’s what I did yesterday, complete the season…)
Edit: I’d add a link to an imgur posted screenshot, but as yet I haven’t figured out how.
i wouldn’t wish to have a need to apply to such sites
You probably got a whole bunch of Fire-Chains elite packs one after the other.
Or you’re using the new DH set that casts free primary skills aka Entangling Shot. But you’re not equipped properly or not using the right skills to take full advantage of the set bonuses.

You’re explaining my luck in a nutshell.
Every. Single. GR. I get… is filled with fire chains (monk here, not a demon hunter although I have one!). T14 is when I started really seeing them a lot, T16 and above, it’s constant. Every blue group has fire chains. It’s maddening! (As a monk the only excellent cure I’ve found for it so far is WoL.)
It’s happening even with non-Elites. Yes, I’m using the new GoD set, and yes I’m using Entangling Shot. It’s the first time I’ve ever use ES. As I said, “test a new combination of skills”… Are you saying that I’m causing the fire chains?
Before you go out testing anything, spend 5 minutes inspecting what skills & gear you’re actually using.
Kali Maaaaaa…Kali Maaaaaa shaktide!!!
