Akkhan's Leniency stacks

How about instead of 40% at 100 stacks, we have 200% at 20 stacks? Or even 400%/10. Or if not that, a 20 second timer would help. Stacks drop every time as the guardian spawns in.

The bonus duration of D3 is usually 8 seconds(eg.Band of Might,Elusive Ring,Roland set 6 P bonus), and I think 8 seconds is more suitable than 6 seconds, but the most important problem is that the strength of the LOD Bless Shield is not enough in PTR phase 1. We must ensure that the LOD Bless Shield reaches A-tier, which is the same strength as the Barb LOD Hammer of the Ancient. So,after trying PTR, I recommend this:The Akkhan’s Leniency:Each enemy hit by your Blessed Shield increases the damage of your Blessed Shield by 100% for 8 seconds. Stacks up to 100 times (No more individual stacks). We should make sure the player ranked first on the LOD Bless Shield Ladder can reach GR150 in Non-Season.

That’s irrelevant to the stacking problem. Being caught at 0 stacks on a boss without adds gimps your damage for a minute, if not longer trying to get 100 stacks back one at a time. The max needs dropped to 20 or less, same as what happened with Taeguk back when it was 100 stacks. It’s just unnecessary to have to stack up to 100 when stacking to 10 with higher % does the exact same job and takes a tenth of the time to get to.

Either this or 5 Stacks when a Boss is hit.

Either what you suggested or let Elites/Bosses add 10 stacks per hit.

If bosses can stun you (remember CC immunity is gone in S29) the issue even returns several times per Boss battle.

100 stacks are suitable, which makes items attack speed still important. If your attack speed high, you can reach 100 stacks faster.
After trying PTR,I think the LOD Bless Shield still needs buff 5 tiers, so I recommend this:The Akkhan’s Leniency:Each enemy hit by your Blessed Shield increases the damage of your Blessed Shield by 200% for 8 seconds.

After trying myself I think the stack amount needs to be reduced and damage per stack buffed. It is a real hassle to get the stacks back up if they manage to fall off. The issue is not only against rift guardians, it’s a constant problem in bad maps when you have squigly layout, hideous density or even both.

Lowered stack count would help alleviate the build’s sensitivity to monster density.

Attack speed will be important for the build regardless of how the stacks work.

And you’re still looking at nearly a minute to get to 100 from 0 on a boss. And if you somehow lose stacks on the boss, then you’re back to nothing. The stack amount needs reduced, same as when they lowered Taeguk to 10 stacks. 100 is pointless when 20 can do the same thing. Just enough to need a little bit of ramp up, but not so many that you’re screwed for the entire fight if you start at 0 or the stacks drop.

I agree with you. Undoubtedly, when the boss spawn and the boss is far away from you, you run towards it and you have to lose 100 stacks because of the Akkhan’s Leniency only lasts 6 second. At this point, the experience of 100 stacks is much worse than that of 50 stacks.
But more importantly, let’s monitor the Non-Season Ladder. The performance of the LOD Bless Shield is very poor, which reminds us that it needs at least buff 5 tiers. My proposal is:
Plan A:The Akkhan’s Leniency:Each enemy hit by your Blessed Shield increases the damage of your Blessed Shield by 100% for 8 seconds.Stacks up to 100 times (No more individual stacks).
Plan B:The Akkhan’s Leniency:Each enemy hit by your Blessed Shield increases the damage of your Blessed Shield by 200% for 8 seconds.Stacks up to 50 times (No more individual stacks).

The damage has nothing to do with my post. If you want to complain about that, I’d suggest making your own PTR feedback topic on it. The issue is needing to stack 100 times to get to full potential, and getting a boss that doesn’t spawn adds being a GR ender if your stacks fall. Either change it to 20, tops, or better yet, change it to 10. Bosses/elites giving 10 stacks and leaving max at 100 is acceptable as well.

The issue is maintaining stacks in these two scenarios:

  1. Boss spawns and you somehow miss the very first hit due to small hit box, it spawned too far away or immediately teleported away from your first attack. (Recovery is VERY long, 30-40 seconds penalty)

  2. You go to the next floor and you’re faced with a long empty corridor/path, some maps can be like this. (Recovery of stacks is SHORT, 3-5 second penalty)

The fast fix is just to extend the Akkhan’s Leniency duration to 10 seconds.

With that said, the build feels closer to S6 Impale than it ever did. And I agree with Leal, the damage output feels a hint too low. It’s hard to test this stuff with the crazy high Area Damage distorting the results.

please change the stack to 10 or 20 with similar changes to GoD DH
