Hello good folks. I’m a bit confused about something. I’m playing a Season game for the first time. So, now, I managed to kill Maltheal, and the system said I had won the game, but that there were more quests and accomplishments in Adventure Mode. OK, so, two questions. The game also told me I’d achieved only 5 out of 9 accomplishments. How can I have “won” with only 5 of 9, and how can I stay in the game to get the rest, once it’s said I’d completed the game? Second…How does one switch to “Adventure Mode”, or is that done automatically? I’ve reached Level 70+ but I seem to be doing the same things - fight the same critters in the same places - as before I “won” the game. Is that normal? Oh, one more thing, if I may. Though I’m at a high level, I never got Kanai’s Cube. Is there a way I can go get it, now that I’m apparently in “Adventure Mode”? Thanks, for whatever you can tell a newbie to Season play.
Change your game mode to adventure mode.
Most of the season journey is meant to be done in adventure mode.
Under the “Start Game” button there is a “Game Settings” button, click on that and you will find the three modes that you can choose from. Well two modes and Challenge Rift.

Also note that doing the Act Quests in Campaign Mode is not the same thing as doing the Season Journey Chapters.
Kanai’s Cube can only be acquired and used in Adventure Mode. Once you equip your 3 Cube Powers, they stay with you, even in Campaign Mode. But, to change them, you must return to Adventure Mode.
When you’re playing a Seasonal Character, press Shift+J to bring up your Season Journey Menu.
- Complete all the Objectives in Season Journey Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 to receive a Haedrig’s Gift, which contains 2 pieces of a Set for your Class.
- Complete Season Journey Chapter 3 to receive a second Haedrig’s Gift with 2 more pieces of the Set.
- Complete Season Journey Chapter 4 and you will receive the third Haedrig’s Gift with the rest of your Set pieces.
Haedrig’s Gifts can be claimed from your in-game mail as soon as you earn them. Game mail only lasts for 30 days before it’s deleted. So, claim them when you earn them. Besides, you’ll want to equip your free Set as soon as possible.
I don’t see “Start Game”. When I first go into the game, all I get is a “Play” button. Where’ s “Start Game”, please? And thanks everyone for the help…though, being unsmart, I might need more…sorry.
