Since season 29 is the last new season, and the new season theme is a big lacking, why not just throw us long time D3 players a bone and put Djank from the PTR server in the season? You can give him limited bags, but at least it would be something exciting…

Reforging legendary should retain type or become higher type (normal, ancient, primal).

Yeah I love to see Red Beams, but when I identify the primal all excitement vanishes seeing how crappy and useless it’s stats are…
I would rather have millions crafting mats and reforge items into good Primals than waste time relying on luck…
There’s no excitement in seeing most of the primals you get ending as Forgotten Souls, cause they suck so badly…
If all primals that drop were actually BiS with perfect stats, than hunting for them would be “exciting” unlike how it’s now were most of them end up worse than the ancient one you’re already wearing…
Most (human) botters will end with almost full primals anyway, so I don’t see any reason not to add the Djank in.
Would safe a loooot of time and you would still be farming or pushing GRs to get highiest legendary gems you can…

They don’t anymore, they become primordial ashes.
It would negate basically all the need to play. On the PTR I caught up on my current season chars gear wise in about 5 hours, which is 1/30 of my season playtime.
That is definitely not a good thing.
Or simply allow us to fully modify the primal so we play for mats to forge the primal as we need it. Or allow us to reforge it while keeping it a primal.
That would complement the loot hunt.
Btw, on ptr, I spent thousends of mats reforging 3 items to obtain the specs I wanted. One ended up being a perfect primal.
Non ancient is insta skip. So those are useless. Waste of time and mats. Many ancients were plain crap too due to wrong or way too low stats.
I’d like more quality, less quantity. I’m fine with higher costs if that results way faster in what I want. Gambling (Kadala, reforging, rerolling) is just tedioys and boring.
But no Djank. Way too easy and way too boring.
On ptr got my dh near perfect in just few hours. No point to keep playing were it live game…

My best Squirts for Cold Tal Rasha this season is non ancient 20% cold (rerolled) and 89/9 crit. I did a lot of reforges which gave me a primal that came with 20% fire crit damage and an inferior affix that could be rolled to crit. The cold one mentioned was one of the reforge results and better than any of the other ancients that I got during the proces.
The people in favour of the paragon cap say it’s all about the fun and skill deciding who’ll be top of the leaderboards. This way, inside a week, everyone can be paragon 800, have primals in every slot, and they can all be truly equal. I wonder what they’ll use as an excuse for not being in the top 1000 then.

I was only sort of joking. It is more a criticism of the unexciting content of the last real season. Going out with a whimper, not a bang.
honestly though, giving us djank and 500% increased xp for a season could be bonkers. 
They’ll claim that every single person above them is just because they are using THUD.

Which is funny because THUD is removed completely.
I heard thud is not completely dead. Chinese version and one other version seems to work.
But that’s not THUD though. Either way, hopefully every single one of them eventually stops working. 
If PTR was open through the season we could import our heroes into it and try out different setups and perhaps alternative builds just for the fun of it.
I know it’s not going to happen.
I’d love a recipe that lets us upgrade our Ancirent items to Primals with the same affixes. (also unlimited, I want to be able to grind my way to “perfect” gear)
The recipe should ofc be expensive, maybe even with a new material that drops in Visions of Enmity.
Right now we have to find(or reforge) the right Ancient item and afterwards we improve it with Augments.
Why not let us improve them again to Primal?
It’s not like Primals are so much better that it would break the game balance.
Now that is a cool idea for that GR scaling fissure suggestion of yours.

Building up an item to perfection is what I would like too.
I think chances are higher to get things that still have rng though. Hence the request to retain the type when rerolling…
