Act IV New Mysterious Chest?

Yesterday evening I was playing D3 on console but I’m sure this applies to PC as well, so posting here. I was running bounties and encountered a Mysterious Chest in a brand new location in Act IV. I know there can be a Mysterious Chest in Gardens of Hope Tier 1 (Falcon’s Wings) and Gardens of Hope Tier 2 (Ghoul King’s Blade). I was in one of the Upper/Lower Realms of Infernal/Cursed Fate. I opened a chest and a white weapon dropped. I picked it up and it gave me a notice of a new transmog. Because I was running bounties, I didn’t stop to look and see what it was unfortunately. I also didn’t notice to see if the chest actually said Mysterious Chest. I also hurriedly did a mass salvage before checking to see what it was that dropped.

So… trying to reconstruct what dropped. Looking at my weapon transmogs available, I don’t see anything new. I tried with several different weapons since I know some transmogs are only available for certain weapon types. I was hoping to try a 1 handed axe to see if it was Aidan’s Revenge, but it was not.

Anybody else encounter this before? I have two theories:

1. New item added to game but not fully implemented or bugged, so it doesn’t show up at Mystic. What this item is, I have no clue.
2. Since it was one of the [Upper/Lower] Realm of [Infernal/Cursed] Fate, the chest was a Mysterious Chest that would normally be found in the corresponding map the section was taken from.

The second option seems the most likely, but it’s something I’ve never encountered on console or PC before.

I think they are saying that the two I had listed are the only two they know about as well that are in Act IV. All the other lists agree with that and don’t have the Mysterious Chest I found listed. I am 100% certain I got the notification of a new transmog. (It wasn’t the Helm of Cranial Crustacean, that’s one that I know about. This was clearly a weapon.)

None of the lists or sites like Maxroll, Icy Veins, etc. mention that Mysterious Chests can also be found in the Act IV Realms that use the tileset where the Mysterious Chest would normally be found. It would make sense if that were the case. I’m inclined to believe that may be the case. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced that or if this is a new drop?

Right, because it’s so hard to go through the list of transmogs you got and see which one isn’t included in any guide…
