Hello, I have bought Diablo 3 on my account years ago and when I download and play the game it says it is only the starter edition and I can only play till lvl 14. It shows active when I look under my games and subscriptions. I am trying to play it again and stuck on this.
Hey there,
I’m not seeing a Diablo 3 purchase on the Battle.net account that you’re posting from. You will see an active game “license” under your Games & Subscriptions, however that is just because you need a license to be able to play even the free version of the game.
If you did have a purchase it would show up under Transaction History
You may want to try to remember if you used any previous or alternate email addresses to log in to Battle.net in the past, and try logging in or resetting the password if you can recall it. If you have an email with the order # of the digital purchase you can also contact support and they can assist with locating the account that purchase was made on.
I have this same problem. I bought the Eternal Collection and the game still shows that I am on the trial. Interestingly, if I go to Euro or Asian servers, it loads the full game with DLCs, but, I am in USA…
I continue to get 300016 errors if I try to re-buy the full version in-game.
Re-installing, signing out/in, switching servers, nothing I can think of has resulted in me having the full version of the game in my country.
Please help, or refund me, but really I just want to play Diablo, Path of Exile isn’t the same thing, but you know what? It works. RIP Going to go back to that until I get a response to this thread. Will call Blizzard tomorrow.
Hey wr42,
I see your purchase and everything looks normal with the account now. The trial restrictions you were running into were likely just due to the payment for your order not being finalized. It can sometimes take a few hours or up to 24 hours for the payment to complete with your bank / card company, and then after that the trial restrictions will be removed automatically.
I have a very similar issue with my account. It says I have the starter edition of D3, yet in my character list is shows my level 33 monk with over 26 hours of play time, but it won’t let me play as him. Please help.
hello
i have the same problem, under purchased i cant see Diablo 3 but i have the original CD in my hand …what should i do ?
thanks
You’ll need to show Battlenet that you purchased a copy of the game before it will fully unlock.
To do that with a physical purchase (CD), redeem the CD key in your account. The account home page will have a Redeem a Code field at the top.
Im having the same problem and i got my copy day one and the expansion day one mine keeps showing up as a starter edition and ive tried using my cd key and it says its already been used and yes ive tried it on both my accounts but im pretty sure this is the account i used, any help would be very much appreciated
Hello,
That would confirm that the account you are using to log into Battle.Net does not have a D3 license.
That’s good – it confirms that you have redeemed the authentication codes.
Nothing can be done on the forums… You will need to contact Blizzard Support for help.
Use this link to start the process: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/services/316/979/solution and click on the “Contact Us” button. Provide your CD Keys to Blizzard on the ticket (not on the forums)… finding your account (e-mail and password) should be relatively easy if they have the CD Keys.
Good luck !
