A request to the devs:

I have no idea where to actually submit something like this, so I figured I’d post it here. Maybe there will be more interest in it and it might get notice, maybe I’ll be mocked for it, either way its a shot. I would like to buy more character save slots for console. Honestly I don’t even care what they cost I just want to add like another 20 slots to my account. I know there’s the armoury save but it still requires you to be carrying all that gear, which can be a pain trying to sift through new gear, and im a bit of a packrat, and am constantly out of space in the stash because i keep hoarding gear for new character builds. I know it seems like a lot, but for your consideration: Five armour sets for each class = 35 slots right there, not to mention I main wizards and have a few custom builds outside of the main sets. Tack on a couple hardcore characters and a reserved slot for each seasonal character and it adds up FAST. So I mean if it became an available option to buy more slots I’d be adding quite a few. Just wanted to put it out there somewhere and hope someone who might actually be able to bring it up as an option one day might see it. Thanks for reading!

Did you pickup the necro pack already? It opens up some slots.

I think we all feel the storage / slot issue and would be up for solutions. The last I read from devs off the top of my head was they’d trialed a possible solution but pulled it prior to release due to performance issues… makes me speculate there’s a lot of ram consumption by all the storage. A few patches ago… you may be able to find the notes or someone else may recall the specifics.

You would probably have better luck getting a dev to read this if you sent them a message on twitter… sad, but true.

Armory has 10 slots per character…

you’re best bet IMO is to make a bunch of mule accounts…

Good point… assuming you can load two accounts on the same console device side by side?

Considering consoles are couch co-op, then yes you can have up to 4 accounts on one system, which i think will also only work if it registers that there are 4 controllers connected…

If you have 2 controllers, you can open up two different accounts and use one as a mule to dump your stash in, and also, each character can hold 60 items, so thats even more items that each mule account can hold…

thus cutting down on possible lag with the removal of most of your stash onto mule accounts

Think I might just grab another copy to do this myself. Being at capacity always taking up time to manage. I’d originally planned to do it with a PC copy till learning they can’t connect.

another copy of what? The game?

yea I’m assuming this is the way to have another account and fresh set of unused character slots to mule - like 1 purchase / 1 license / 1 account

smh no. when i said consoles are couch co-op, i meant exactly that. you can have up to 4 players on one console playing… meaning you don’t need another copy of the game. Just create another PSN account, and sign into the game

go back to GD. this is console forums, you guys have it made when it comes to stash.

thanks, i’ll check it out… maybe just another controller needed

Best way to use mules since there is no “side by side” for consoles when it comes to looking at loot, you can drop all you want to put on the mule on the ground, and have the mule pick everything up and place in stash…

as for characters, if you want to put certain builds on the characters, you can create those same characters on the mule account so you know where the sets are for that particular character

yea you’ll need a second controller.

Well… pack and stores freedom is like a HUGE breath of fresh air. I hadn’t planned on forking out for a new controller, but meh… it’ll come in handy some time I’m sure.

I see there’s no gold transfer and suspect same for mats but haven’t confirmed. If so, need to remember to salvage on my main account unless I want to lose the mats to the mule account.

So seems like there’s no limit to the number of accounts if you wanted to go totally pack rat crazy too… I’d just assumed they’d have stung you for a license to do this. No complaints there.

nah, nothing like licenses to block you on consoles, as on PC.

you can take your copy of the game and go to any other persons Xbox/ps4 and pop it in and start playing… yea the cost of the controller is the issue.

are you referring to xbox gold? shouldn’t need it, because you can play with up to 4 players, as i said, without having to pay anything for multiplayer.
you won’t lose anything if you salvage or delete something off a mule account, that belonged on a main account.

you can ask any of the regulars here like, homerjnick, dpastern(probably) and a couple others, i guarantee they have at least one or two mules to keep stuff that they didn’t want to get rid of.

ah yes hoarder problems indeed

So this might come back to when it asked me for an email I ended up using a different email which led me through what appeared to be making a new account… so no gold or mats in it and no way to transfer that i can see… maybe i could have used the same email and then the “new player” would have been on the same account and shared gold/mats. I can try that part again later.

Are you on xbox?

You can make an unlimited number of free accounts and you can log into the same game as your main account. You must have both accounts logged in and a character from both must be in a lobby together. You can drop most items on the ground and pick them up with the other account. You can also use the mailbox in act 1 to send items to each other. You will need to add each account as a friend on both accounts though. Another option is the trade window. Open inventory, then tab to group. When selecting a player, you can opt to initiate a trade. You can trade gold and most items. If an item cannot be dropped or traded in trade, try sending it in the mail. None of these methods work in seasons however. Console season play is self find, and prevents you from giving items to another player.

Yea, xbox.

So far so good, done all that part.

Nice one, Inventory… Party… Give Gold… easy as.

All chars are NS… understand Season is sandboxed to be the clean slate start that it is.

This will free up some slots for me for some other projects though… so possibly I’ll give seasons a run here and there. Already cleaned out all the stores from the monk to try out WoL for t16 speed. Sacrilege im sure … the monk playing mule all this time
