So let see even if his grandma had his mother at 18 and his mother had him at 18. That would make his grandma 125!!!
to give d3 more life-span and even surviving despite d4 we would need an item-overhaul (rarity, balance, primal-revamp), a stat-squish AND a paragon rework ontop.
d3 has so much unused potential, maybe just copy some endgame activities from other games and test them in upcomming seasons.
i sadly think nothing of that will happen and they will abandom ship if d4 is a success… (which i would also love btw)
Clearly you’ve never heard of the time worn and true adage “Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young.” The 25 year old soldier MAY be a talented strategic genius, but almost always not. The war vet MAY be a by-the-book boomer, but he’s the survivor for a reason, and the book is mostly written by other survivors and not arrogant, inexperienced rookies. Being young doesn’t make you smarter or more insightful. It just makes you think you’ve got all the answers, just like every generation before you since Cain killed Abel.
I wanted to respond at length this, but the tone is just too much to take seriously.
I’m chalking it up to satire.
Exactly, he was called out on that before and did a tap-dance around it.
Thanks for arguing a point I never made.
Then, it’s not what I’m talking about.
My whole point can be summed up by: age is irrelevant, what really matters is skill, knowledge and insight. The “I’ve been doing this for 40 years” type of argument will never sit down with me when they’ve been doing it wrong for 40 years, and if they are indeed good at it, they don’t need to flaunt their experience, because their skill or knowledge speak for themselves.
This is why nobody feels comfortable posting in this forum. Almost every reply in this thread is a troll post.
I even asked you politely to be civil and keep it serious.
i give up
Gotta laugh guy has 40 years experience and a kid comes along and just knows he’s doing it wrong
You say this then rubbish the guy because he tells the apprentice he has 40 years of skill, knowledge and insight and apparently that means nothing to you
Is that the same as “I quit?”
No that is why YOUR posts are treated as the joke they are YOU are the resident troll here
And if you are stupid enough to put up ONE supposedly serious post that starts and finishes as a troll post after posting a trillion troll posts, well sorry for treating it like every other post of yours
Keep it civil you say after trashing Raxx and rubbish everyone here with your I’m so better than everyone else attitude
And the things I have learnt from other people because they have a different way of doing things and learning from seeing people do things I wouldn’t even think of doing

“Remember, this 10-year milestone for Diablo III was made possible by YOU, Nephalem, many of whom have spent countless hours demon-slaying, looting, and creating memorable moments to look back on. To show our undying appreciation for the support of more than 65 million Nephalem worldwide over the past 10 years”
I just love these people who cannot accept that D3 was a success.
Oh look he’s quitting somerhing…again.
sales? go and play d:immoral than.
if companys earned money tells u what a good game is, than d:immoral and candy crush must be the non plus ultra games.
but in reality u should watch the meta/userscore.
and than u will see, that diablo 2 is the king.
The majority voted.
sorry not to be sorry
i want a diablo game. not a colorfull cashcow like d iii, candy crush or d:immoral.
btw. i don’t think d iii is anymore a cashcow, after (legal concerns?) the RMTX was closed.
The fact that people are refusing to throw their money on D2R is pretty telling.
D2R vs D3 RoS Metacritic:

Are people still buying enigma, botd etc on D2R?
At Metacritic, D2: LoD only have around a thousand user scores, while classic D2 have 1600. Compared to that D3: RoS has only 1700 ratings, and D3 classic have 10000 (yes, ten thousand) user ratings. This would give you an idea about the game’s reach and the potential it had about 8 years ago.
D3 was spread between different platforms among the years but lack of infrastructure hence laggy gameplay experience and game being so original compared to its predecessor were frustrating elements for the userbase. That’s why they vent deeply about D3 but never showed up to show their support for D2.
Compared to metacritic, digital game store pages have several user reviews beyond a mere thousand that you can read at your own leisure. Hell… Just open google play or iOS store, mobile games have more reviews than all diablo titles at metacritic combined.
As I said before, people didn’t care to buy the same game they played for two decades. This is why it didn’t sell as much but it’s sort of a success that it sold that much.
Also you have to elaborate the scores; instead I’ll do it for you I guess. D2R got that score, because it still worked with mechanics that is accepted 20 years ago, plus people didn’t wanna play the same game with only graphics improved. This still has nothing to do with classic legacy D2, nor it’s a stain on its fame. It’s still the game where third party sites and forum gold are a thing.
Wrong assumption. I never said the younger guy was an apprentice. Again, you guys keep arguing a point I didn’t make. I’m talking about OP claiming to be superior in knowledge just because “he has beeen playing online games for longer”, even though the person he’s talking about did a lot for the game’s community especially in working to provide teaching resources like Maxroll, than he ever did.
That’s what I’m talking about. Actions > words. Just like my seniors at work take me seriously because I work so much they actually have to scold me for overworking.
Aren’t they usually D2 fanboys who have very little time in D3.
Or, people like WG who just like to complain about everything?
Did you really expect anything different? At least he will never quit D4.
