Thank Odin, barb is finally playable again.
Been collecting dust since Jay left.
Didn’t have much hope for upcoming season, but pleasantly surprised
by this, I tip my hat to all the Barbs who fought the good fight.

FWIW regarding R6 Hota, I believe remorseless + sankis will outpace Istvan’s swords - but with the new stuff I don’t expect to see much of it.
I’ll be curious if a high paragon Rend player will top the Seismic Slam player currently at #1. Any guesses when this hotfix might go live?
Tuesday I would bet as that is usually when patches are pushed out.

You could say there was a lot of lamentation concerning it not starting on Nov 15. But then with all the lamentation about the nerf, we now have this lamentation a 3rd time about waiting to Nov 22!

So when is the builds getting put up in the barb forum? Got a stupid cold right now but I don’t think I missed any of the rend builds posted there did I?
In order to have you something to look at while downing a couple of kegs of ale this wizard will illuminate the skies for you with some meteoric fireworks.
It’s a first for me that I see something like this happen (and I’ve been around more or less since Vanilla), but I sure hope they keep this up so even when I’m no Barb I still feel I have something to celebrate as well.

Tried this out and it went very good (on par with my currently IK HotA) until I realized EQ damage looks buffed by Fjord…
When they fix it I guess it will be a non competitive build, since the EQ damage still relevant in killing trash

Can’t you shut up once and for all? I have read your posts since I’ve come on these forums, since I didn’t know you, I decided to not judge you based on the numerous posts from other people calling you a liar, a troll, and whatever else, but only on what I was reading from you.
And the conclusion is very simple: those you call you a liar, they are right, I have seen you lie, twisting the facts and the data to push false narratives; you have been called out on these lies, you have been proven wrong, objectively and demonstrably wrong, you have been proven wrong BEFORE the fact, you have been proven wrong AFTER the fact, yet, you keep going and talking, completely and flat out ignoring the people who call you out and acting as if these calls out never happened; but of course, you do know you are called out, as you have been caught editing some of your messages to remove the parts were you were lying and been proven wrong, and pretending after the fact that you never wrote what you were called out on.
I have seen you inserting yourself in threads and discussions, and acting as if you had some kind of morale high ground, placing yourself in the front and center of the discussion, writing pedantic messages, trying to paint yourself in a positive light by pretending you are some kind of great defender of some cause; but no one is fooled, everyone here knows how much hypocrite and full of yourself you are.
You tell Free the issue is not you, but him; I’m gonna tell you something: I don’t know him much, in fact, I know him as much as everyone else here whom I’ve read the posts since a little more than a week, so I don’t have any bias for or against anyone here, be it you, be it Free, be it Prokhan, Gasnick, and whomever else; until a little more than a week ago, I had no interest at reading Diablo 3 forums, because I don’t care, I don’t read guides, I am not interested, I want to do my thing, I can clean a 100 Grift with my own build, playing the way I want, could I do better if I was following some guides? Probably, yes, but I don’t care, if I have to follow a guide to play, I might as well don’t play at all, and I don’t need a guide to tell me how to play to have fun, you get it?
I main Barbarian since 2015, and I was against this nerf because I know for a fact that it is not about competition: it is about having fun and feeling strong, often, these two things have to be together.
Currently, the vast majority of the top builds for Barbarian suck, plain and simple: Raekor is flat out not fun, it never was, Might of the Earth is not fun either, Whirlwind build is not fun, but in it’s case, it’s not because of the gameplay itself, but because the damage is so low you are forced to fish and do whatever stupid things to succeed at something; that’s not fun, that’s bad design: we are Barbarians, we shouldn’t have to fish anything, we should crush enemies and reduce them to a bloody pulp at the second we see them, not drag them behind us for half of the right before finally being able to pop everything and kill them, or just be used as a transporter to bring them to a Wizard who will nuke them with a broken and overpowered build.
Anyway, my point is that contrary to you, Free, Prokhan and cie have shown they knew they were talking about, they acted civil and mature (Well, maybe not Prokhan and his memes 
).
They didn’t just called you troll and liar, no, they actually proved you are a liar and a troll, they gave objective proofs, maths, anecdotal and objective evidence, compelling data, that you tried again and again to twist to fit your lies, and you were called out on this, and I saw it, I saw your posts, I saw you lies.
As I said, I am not the best player, far from it, and I have no interest in reading guides, as good they can be, but that doesn’t make me an idiot: I have eyes, I have a brain, I can use them to see the evidence, to understand them, and to connect the dots, and get the full picture.
And the full picture, is that they were right: you see, when everyone else is calling you a liar and a troll, the issue doesn’t lie with them, it lies with YOU.
So quit with your pedantic attitude, get off your high horse, give it up with that over-inflated ego of yours, and shut up, no one wants to talk to you: you are a liar and you are not to be trusted, for anything, never.
I don’t get it: why would you use the Paired Blades? They give you +30% damage and attack speed, while in comparison, the Bul Kathos swords give you +45% attack speed and movement speed, on top of giving you a permanent +15 rage generation.
I mean, don’t you have rage issues with the Paired Blades?
With Bul Kathos, you have 15% more attack speed, and with the rage generation, you can take the passive who increases your damage by 25% as long as you have max rage, which you have with BK sword; compared to Ishvan Blades, it’s -5% damage, but +15% attack speed and +45% movement speed, making you harder to hit and making easier to get enemies and tagging them; isn’t it better in the long run?

IB gives %30 damage, AS, and defense. BK doesn’t give defense, 15% more AS but I would assume break points play a role on AS not sure. If so, then if the %15 added AS doesn’t hit the next break point, it wouldn’t matter much.
I also still prefer BK purely because of Fury generation. I can’t seem to make it work without it.
Anyone knows when 2.6.7a will be out?

You had support from all classes except trolls and MicroPNS .er i mean RNA. Hell I don’t even post much and this issue got this DH fired up and going.

I value my integrity. There is a difference in defending an unpopular opinion and lying. Some posters have made claims about me that I feel are demonstrably false. You claim that you have seen me lie. I do not think that I have knowingly. Could you please show me a couple of examples to support your view?
It was an unpopular opinion that the rend damage buff seemed too high to me using the in game data. The developers agreed using whatever metric that they balance the game on. The developers ultimately relented and put a 100%-150% rend damage modifier on lamentation. My suggestion was a flat 100%.
My point about my posting history is that I almost never interacted with posters who mainly frequented the old barbarian forum. As I noted, 99% of my posts were in the old general discussion forum. In contrast, Free posted ~98% of the time in the old barbarian forum. My point was simply that there was a change in his posting behavior in that he made many barbarian threads/frequently posted in the new GD.
At least one of his memes is highly disturbing.
