System reqs say 45gb for the full game. Why the heck is the beta 80gb?
The extra is the HD textures pack. You can disable that part of the DL if you don’t want them or need to save space on your drive.
Even if you disable the HD textures and get a 45gb download. That’s still the size of the full retail game. I would have thought the beta would have been smaller
Wow… that huge…my SSD doesn’t have 60+GB readies at this moment.
For any modern game, its really not.
I mean if you expect and want 2001 textures, physics, videos, and gameplay, sure… but its 2023, where 85 gigs isnt really a large amount of data.
Beta is the full game, they just disabled the content they do not want us to play, but the content is there.
For me it is huge as my SSD didnt have much space already.
That doesnt disprove my point, your lack of storage management, or lack of capability to purchase more space doesnt change that this size isnt much.
What is your problem here? I was simply expressing that my SSD doesn’t have that much space to install.
I just uninstalled Gears 5 and Deathloop. Of course I could’ve moved those to expansion card but it’s too late now.

Make space, buy space, or move on. 85 gigs is nothing.
It just blows my mind about how many people complain about the rather modest hardware requirements of D4. I mean, 500GB SSD is about the realistic minimum for a modern gaming PC, which you can pick up for about $30USD or so. True, it won’t be the fastest, but it’s good enough for games.

Sounds like we have another cracked beta on our hands that will be passed around.
If that were the case, it would have been in the works since the friends and family invites went out, and the cb.
Not saying that wont be a thing in the future… but its def not a thing anyones going to see anytime soon.
I imagine it’ll get datamined but if the game functions like a MMO on a technical level it’ll make it much harder to crack the full game since you’ll need to emulate the server side of things.
