Planned power outages across California.
half an hour ago it was 80k minutes 
youre better off with 277 minutes now
177 mins here, crap.
Went down to 116 minutes, now bumped back up to 315 mins.
Why do we need to be online for a single player game anyways? This should be another nail in the coffin of the online requirement.

If the launcher doesn’t allow you play the game you can play it directly with a shotcut of Diablo III.exe from your game folder and a specific command line -launch at the end of Diablo.exe in your shortcut file…

I guess I got lucky. I made it in no issues. HOWEVER, last night was a complete nightmare. No long log in times, or any log in times, BUT it was lag upon lag upon lag with no shortages of red bars and disconnects. I am sure all for the same reason too.
No, it’s because Blizzard’s Versailles (France) office is in a strike.

Affects the European region.
WORKAROUND: in battle.net while in queue choose switch user. Then select another region and enter your login info. Won’t see your friends in battle.net, but games run fine, and you can see your friends there.
Interesting. won’t bring anything either. they already fired on paper.
with 800 + 400 employees fired, only the beginning is set. it’s obvious where this is going.

This appears to be a continuation of what began in early 2019, when they started laying off 800 people after a record year in 2018. Bobby has an earnings call coming up on Oct. 29th, so he needs to make the investors happy. Maybe if they layoff more people it makes the numbers look good on the spread sheet. At any rate I have no issues logging in to D3.

Why would they need an office in France?
They have an office there since the early days of wow, maybe even earlier. Support, esports and marketing mostly, with staff that can speak most european languages. Many people relocated there just for the job so I can see why the closure hurts.
