Okay I held this in, I need to get this off my chest so I’m just gonna say this once and probably never return…
This was supposed to be the big balancing patch. I don’t even see anything resembling this. Give me 15 minutes and i could add 10x more number tweaks than this, what a joke. Every class should have an end game build with the same equivalence as GoD. Give me a reason to play Wizard? There is none. It’s mobility is just 100% a joke. The only build that has anything remotely close is Vyrs/Chantodo and even that is laughable compared to GoD. The amount of effort put into these patches are nothing short of pathetic and you Blizzard should be ashamed of yourselves. Indy companies can put out 20x more content in their updates probably in less time. I’m sorry I even stuck around waiting for this patch, I should’ve known better. Just disgraceful.
You’re not the same company I used to know, Farewell.

Really? Where was it officially stated so?

He’ll be back in a few years complaining about CoE still being in the end builds. I know cuz that’s what I did.
On a serious note - when the only thing that excites you about upcoming update is magic find conversion to pick up radius in paragon - it’s a sad state to be in.

It is with the Classic team now…development has more or less ceased and it is just tweaks to facilitate Seasonal themes and tuning of power.
Expectations need to be tailored with that context.

Oh you mean poe?
The more content that ends up being 80% filled with bugs on the first 1 month and players alpha/beta test for free?
Give me a break here, I do agree d3 isnt the best thing in the universe but thinking out there currently there’s bigger arpgs is just a rookie mistake.
As for the season, another slot on kanai’s cube… the typical nerfs/buffs on sets and the seasonal buff?. I think what you actually want is new content… content that D3 isnt going to get as D4 is the focus.

2.7 is meant to be the “big balance patch”
Noone ever said that after 2.6.9 there would be 2.6.10 or 2.7. Its 2.6.10 now and there may even be 2.6.11-2.6.99 afterwards, pushing the “big balance patch 2.7” to a date after the release of D4 lol.
Its all on blizzards hands and im already glad, that we got anY changes tbh. There could be just excuses of Covid, stretching the season even longer and the next patch to be just a “rorg season theme” with no balance at all.

I’m still waiting to someone tell me where they got the impression this upcoming patch was supposed to be “the big balance patch”.
Blizzard said that they are going to address the underperforming builds after the new sets were released. They did not however state anywhere that they are going to address all of them all at once. People really seem to have jumped into conclusions here.

Too lazy to look for it now, but it was in either the last blog or a blue post, next patch was supposed to be a balance patch.
Agreed it;s underwhelming , i still got hope more of the small tweaks suggested on the forums might get implemented.
It would not be the first time they add more things mid PTR.

I really think after they are done with set balances that they want to do one patch focused on QoL as there are plenty to address.
Paragon Gold Find is just a start.
Well, it was hinted at by Nevalistis that balancing would happen after the new sets were released. As 2.6.9 saw the last new set released, it wasn’t much of a stretch to imagine that the patch after that would have some balancing in it…

I was under the impression That the “balancing” would be In multiple parts. If this is the case, this is just the beginning. This is also not the end results as they have and can change things before it goes live which I’m sure some stuff will be.
I’m actually excited to see the crusader and WD. I’m also happy that we still get things like this on a game I paid once for (well 3 times, 1 console, 1 original PC, and a replacement copy after I forgot my original account) and that’s 8 years old.

The difference is that Nevalistis’ post doesn’t give even microscopic hint that there’d be a big balance patch after the new sets were released. If anything that post indicates the very opposite, balancing would be gradual over the course of multiple patches.

It was also my understanding that the balancing would be gradual. They have started to do it in 2.6.10 and will continue in the following patches. Chill out people, there is still a lot of time to kill before D4 arrives

We all cant change into super saying mode Goku. But looks like plenty of stuff to test there. There will never be a balanced game as long as theres paragon.
This patch is amazing just for the 4th cube slot. The rest is gravy. Sorry if you didn’t get what you wanted.

Extra cube slot is neat. I can use Fortress Ballsista or, elusive ring or even Nemesis in my push build. The rest looks pretty meh.
How can it be a disappointment when it isn’t released yet?
And no, you can’t reasonably expect them to make all the changes they may or may not have in mind in one fell swoop. You were expecting too much - that’s not Blizz’s fault. They never said or promised everything would be released at once, in one patch.

I started playing Wolcen 4 days ago and I have not been disappointed.

Because we can already foresee that some of the abilities the clones make use of might cause hard CC of enemies, which means heroes won’t be able to move them once they become CC immune. Ground Stomp, Ancient Spear, Cyclone Strike, Piranhas, etc, rely on the hero being able to move the mobs.

We’ll just have to see. Then pass judgement.
