I had a perfect primal ethereal (via the cube’s primal recipe). I had a banger of a GR earlier tonight and cleared a GR 139 with 5 minutes to spare for rank 16 overall (rank 10 for TO set). I really wish Blizzard didn’t hide paragon on the LBs on the console port. So many poor dev choices made with the console port (we can’t see the follower or follower skills either on console).
Ethereals were actually stronger than s33 even for necro. For Blackbog’s Sharp, on top of the two 2x multipliers and other useful stats, there was a higher attack speed. This improved total damage to 4.5x and even higher to 5.3x if used with a poison SOJ.
Meanwhile SotC provides 5x but most importantly is not 5x spammable due to bone armor dropping. It is effectively only about 4.5x.
Also Blackbog with higher attack speed gave faster stricken stacks and more life on hit, and bone armor not dropping more defense.
I would judge Blackbog about 2 levels better than s33.
Interesting. So the two damage buffs work multiplicatevely. If I read that correctly it is 100% to all necromancer skills so double damage, and 100% to consecutive hits so another double damage. That’s a 4x multiplier, or 300% more damage. Very close to Scythe of the Cycle without counting all the other buffs.
