In your opinion; excluding the Crusader’s, and probably Demon Hunter’s, should 2-Handed Ethereal Weapons come with two legendary powers instead of one, or is the 300% skill damage increase enough?
Is it additive or multiplicative?
That’s going to make a huge difference.
Ok, first, can anyone show me some eth items? I need to know what’re the stats.
The Monk gets 100% damage to all skills…strength and dex at 1,125 max , +100% damage, then a few other rolls with the weapon range up to 2300.
Dang so now there’s ancient and non-ancient eth? Sh*t’s just get real
Far as I can tell, “Ancient” just displays for all level 70 versions of the items.
The only “non-Ancient” ones I’ve seen, either personally or in any other pictures, have been those found at low levels.
Every single one of the Level 70 Ethereals, of which I have seen about 50, has said “Ancient”.
So, it turns out it’s actually not skill damage, it’s sheet damage. Equipping an ethereal with 100% to all skills take you from, for example, 2mil to 4mil sheet damage.
So, multiplicative.
Ewww I get the idea behind restoring the D2 items in all their glory as an honor to the game before Resurrected comes out, but +str on a monk weapon in D3 is absolutely pointless
Other people are not getting that roll so I don’t know why I did.
Multiplicative damage bonuses don’t normally show up on your sheet DPS. And 100% of 2 mill is another 2 mil, so that would seem to indicate the bonus is additive, no?
I could be wrong, but I’ve never known of an instance where a multiplier shows on sheet damage, ya know?
I guess I thought sheet damage never takes skill increases into account, but that’s wrong I guess so you’re probably correct.
I just tried the Buriza Ethereal on my DH and it is really insane!
Definitely exchanging Dawn and Vallaa for this one and the quiver, Dawn to cube.
And the extra passive also helps out a lot. I got Awareness, so i could choose an extra damage passive as well.
On a sidenote: I would vote in favor of changing the free primal drop on grift 70 for a free Ethereal drop. Any ideas on that thought?
