Found this and the plan of the SoH in 18 minutes run just now. :sunglasses:

I guess my only roadblock now is farming Primals for the Ashes.

Did you use your primals to craft a primal before unlock the Altar?

If you play in group, you can always ask to other players to give you useless primals, but good luck xD

1 Hour farming.

I guess I used up my luck for DI farming on D3 Staff of Herding. I can expect I probably won’t find anything useful in DI farming (or D3 Primals) next week. :laughing:

Good for you.

I’m on my third day farming the gibbering gemstone with no luck and over 14 hours farming.

I’m about to give up on getting this piece for the staff.
I have all the other pieces.

This was definitely the hardest part of the altar for me. Well, not the hardest but the most painful, you know what I mean. Crazy thing is that every other material and the plans dropped on the first or second try. I killed Chiltara 150 times though, lol.

I got mine in less that 20 mins my 2nd run, what i do for GG and Mysterious Chest is create a game, check the zone for the correct bounty, go to the bounty and do it, if there is not a correct bounty, leave game and start new one. to be fair I did create a Staff last season and the GG to 6 hours.

I personally start to be convinced the drop rates are somehow not just simple RNG. I needed to kill Chiltara about 20 times to get first one (60 new games). But then next two times I went to CoF in public bounties I got two new Gemstones in consecutive visits to that cave (1 day between). Hearing someone making hundreds of runs makes this sound totally unbelievable coincidence.

I’m on xbox and took me about 3 days of 3 - 4 hour runs to eventually get it. The grind is worth it when you get the double primals on the altar

It does. I finally made a Season char and decided to do the rounds for the staff farming as part of leveling activities.

I had the bounty for the cave, which was cool, and got the gem from it. So my level 20 already has the gem. Nifty I guess.

It’ll be proof to the conspiracy theories some people have, that streamers, content creators, MVPs etc have more favorable drops and drop rates than ordinary players… :slight_smile:

I mean have you ever looked at my profile? Heh. I am beyond casual these days, well most days really. I will never get addicted to a game again like I did with D2. So far I have kept that promise since 2004.

Also, I know you are just joking :slight_smile: They barely know who I am these days. Really though there are no special servers or drop rates that I am aware of. I know the conspiracy but no. Now, if someone is at Blizzard and on a premade PR/Media account that would be different. Those do exist but not for personal use.

Keep your proof which took u this long to get. I don’t need gold. I already proved i’m doing nothing wrong and that you wait for enough (written) proof in RED before you act.
