Hi, I came back and wanted the new Lamentation belt asap so I’ve been using recipe 3 in the cube with my barbarian to upgrade rare belts, so far I have spent 1000 death breath and every belt but lamentation, and I am starting to wonder if something is wrong? Or, am I just having the most unlucky streak ever? Or, was the rarity changed drastically? Thanks for your inputs anyone, and if you can confirm that you have received the lamentation with recipe 3, that would be helpful before I spend another 1000 death breath trying to get even just one copy.
Oh and another thing, I used to have level 70 Captain Crimson set, but it seems like I don’t anymore. I know it was changed recently…is that it? If so, how do I get it to drop? Because even the green goblins don’t drop it, and as I said, I had the old level 70 version but it appears to have been lost somehow, I only have the low 30s version now. Any idea?
It is possible, i got mine in less than 10 tries i think. You are upping rare mighty belts and not regular belts?
NOT rare belts
Mighty belts is what you gamble for Lamentation

Lol, thats nothing. I used up 8000+ bounty mats and 400,000+ forgotten souls trying to roll a FoT ammy. and ended up not getting an ancient flavor of time with the right rolls. Got about 3 primals in the process but nothing useful. My whole life savings down the drain.
Something in me kept saying stop, but I thought I will eventually get one. But I was wrong.

This game is like a slot machine with trying to roll an ancient. Its like the house knows you want one and will deny you one.

Your math doesnt add up, 8,000 bounty mats for rerolls would only be 80,000 souls.
You can also gamble Belts from Kadala with your Barbarian, but you’ll get Belts and Mighty Belts. Still, if it’s the last item you need for your Barb build, you’ve got to spend your Blood Shards on something.
And, if Kadala gives you Rare (yellow) Level 70 Mighty Belts, you can use those to upgrade in Kanai’s Cube.
According to D3 Planner, Kadala a Level 70 Barbarian needs an average of 4,938 Blood Shards to get a Lamentation Mighty Belt from Kadala and and average of 169 Death’s Breaths to upgrade a Rare Level 70 Mighty Belt to the Lamentation. (I’m not sure how that math works out. I would think it would be 175 at 25 DBs a pop. I guess it’s like: A family should have an average of 2.5 children. — Personally, I’ve never met anyone with half a child.

Crafted Sets
- Note: The following sets have been significantly revised from their existing level 70 counterparts. Items crafted prior to 2.6.6 will continue to exist in their old forms but will not be updated after the patch. In addition, after the patch, the old recipes will no longer be available to craft and all players will need to re-acquire these recipes by finding the plans again through Horadric Caches or by killing Odious Collectors.
I believe it’s only the Odious Collectors.

Me about it. I spent a lot of forgotten souls trying to get Tal Tasha boots…
