You can’t expect to get in when a lot of players are queueing up. No matter how many servers and how good they are.

It really wouldn’t be so bad if there was a grace period but I got disconnected and immediately put into an hour long queue. Learning from the mistakes of their other games is a decidedly NON-Blizzard trait, apparently. Love that for them
Ya a grace period is something that is needed and I hope makes it to the live game on launch. As for now, it is beta and to be expected so I got my Steam Deck on the side while I wait for queue after I was in then got booted lol.
More realistically, they should have had regional roll-out so that, for example, the servers for Europe open up before those in NA, for example. There are ways to restrict access though they can be relatively easily bypassed - then, once they know the game will work, give global login once all servers are live.

If you were expecting to buy a 100% seamless experience in a beta* then you should have saved your money. As long as there isn’t consistent major issues all weekend then I’ll be ok. I was playing for about 2 minutes until I got dc’d and now I have an hour queue, but these things tend to happen in a beta during the first server stress test

Lol, people you never learn. Blizzard is just a name.
I find it BS because they knew how many people paid for the early beta to be able to play, yet did not have enough servers to handle the load. It is nothing to do with how playable the game is, just a total lack of planning (I call ignorance).
So I will request a refund. No harm, no foul either way.
