I have been experiencing a lot of disconnections from the game this season. I will be playing and all of a sudden mobs and character stop responding, and I receive the “Your connection has been interrupted” message. Is anyone else experiencing this? What can I do to prevent this?
Thank you
Lots of ppl from eu have experienced this due to servers beeing o overloaded with players due to ladder season start, it’s highly advisable not to play HC chars at this time, due to servers beeing run on potatoes.
its not just Europe i play from Australia its been happening since it updated again
I play from Ohio and disconnects are very frequent. I originally bought four licenses and expansions way back when Diablo first came out and we played in home, exclusively on LAN and I was pleased to see Diablo updated and we purchased it again and machines to run it. It is terrible the LAN feature is gone. One machine get disconnected but not the other or they alternate losing connection but my switch and modem monitoring software show no breaks on connection so it is BattleNet causing loss of connection and experience. We do not play the ladder at all and not interested in it. Not running D2R smoothy is preventing us from getting into Diablo IV, why buy something new I cannot use because ‘the ladder season’ is upon us when I cannot consistently play an old version. Is there a way to fake it and make a LAN work? I have a really strong LAN and broadband connection and greatly enjoy Diablo now that I have retired.
if you don’t mind loosing sunder charms and terror zones, there is a way to play D2R over TCP/IP / LAN multiplayer…
I won’t advertise it here, cause the legality of it is questionable at best, but google is your best friend, so have a look there…
