The D2 economy outside of JSP uses runes as currency for trades. You totally have it backwards!

Why dont you just play d3 instead.

All of your request pretty kuch exist on d3 already. Leave us d2 player alone

highest transactions comes from majority jsp users paying fg for high runes, esp at the start of every ladder

without this exchange, fg becomes useless and everyone will prefer trading items for items

Even if they did bind runes/runewords on pickup, which they aren’t going to do, they’d just use FG for the next best thing. You’re chasing after your own tail on this one I’m afraid.

I’d rather them just create their own in-game trading platform so we don’t have to use 3rd party trading websites, or be forced to use the primitive way the game offers with 15 character game name limitations, potential for scamming, etc.

my wish is that they revert to 2.4. stop making dumb changes. but we all know they aren’t capable of doing the right thing at this point. why am i here…

The next best thing will be unique items, but the OP end game items are still runewords. This will effectively cut down on the fg value and overtime majority will not bother to use it anymore.

Honestly, pretty much everything you’ve said is either wrong or misguided.

FG isn’t valuable solely because of high runes, and the “next best thing” is actually not even that, but many forms of items can form as BIS gear, whether it is rares, magic items, charms, jewels and facets.

A practical example, if you remove runes from being tradeable, then skillers, 40/15’s or even SoJ’s become de-facto currency, which people will then buy using FG anyway (as they currently do).

All you’re doing is stopping everyone from trading runes, not just JSP users while achieving nothing of value.

skillers, 40/15, sojs are useless when you dont have the OP core gear which are runewords - by cutting off a huge segment of fg value which currently correspond to high runes/runewords

definitely it’s still your choice to pay for fg and use them to get these items if anyone is still willing but as the value of fg dwindles no one would continue using it as currency anymore

so it would be like pre-jsp times where players would rather trade items for items

RWs are far from OP, they are just easy to obtain.

This is the beauty of noobs, they don’t understand the full picture, act liek they do, and complain about everything.

Even if RW are OP, there’s plenty of site that allow trading RW with items such as traderie, and tons of other disocrd and forums.

And let’s get real…D2jsp also isn’t the real problem. Bot with cash transaction on ebay is the bigger problem.

Ah, I can summarize these changes with one simple sentence; make the game less fun.

locking trades at the start of early ladder(untill first person hit 99) would be fine…but perma disabling is plain stupid and a huge handicap to players seeking to trade outside jsp…even early ladder it would be slightly harmful to have trade disable although not as much as mid or late ladder

…honestly i wish ppl seeking nerfs to long day old loved skills give up already…its annoying and would make the game worse…leave teleport,static,hammer,grief and wtv else alone

new content and new bosses would be nice(those would be fine if they get immunity to static field//crushing blow)…as a form of difficulty ramp up over destroying good old effects…i would also be for 100% mana destruction as some enemies use to have…ofc giving energy shield a resistance effect to mana destroying effect would also be a thing to add so that ES builds get to stay possible

currency stacking is something heavily wanted already and devs were still no green thumbing it back then

potion stack…yes-no…as long they add a cooldown for if they allow stacking…something like

up to 8 cooldowns…as long 1 of the eight is off cd you can use a heal//rejuv pot

using a HP trigger cooldown for Rejuv and Rejuv trigger HP potion cooldown
those 2 type should share a cd with each other otherwise it be a stupid endless healing by rejuv

Diablo 2 was not design around you using a health pot every 3 sec to refill health entirely(aka active healing)…so having unlimited healing kinda mess the game…therefore should add cooldown if allow stacking(reduce annoyance of going town more often while keeping mostly the old system style)

option 2 would be a complete rework of that mechanic and its probably gonna bring in a lot of bugs into the game if they go that route…so not so keen on that + it might upset a good chunk of players if it get change from almost non-active healing to very active healing

If you remove rune trading then a lot of people will just quit the game because trading would be even more awful. Those who wouldn’t quit would go to jsp because item for item trading is trash and they can no longer trade for runes.

Also people wouldn’t be able to create their high rune runewords in time so the race to 99 would be sorcs only which would make more people quit.

Overall it’s fair to say that you have no clue and didn’t think your idea through.

For the rest of your post…

It seems that you struggle with the game. You are bad at it and you can’t get enigma and that’s why you want those changes.

But there is an easy solution:

Go play D3

Neither of these would kill jsp, they’d kill ALL trade. Runes are the centralized currency for everything in game. If you did this, how in the world would you ever trade for something like an SOJ? What would you find that’s equal in value to an soj? Likely, nothing that anybody would accept because you’d need to trade a screen full of crap for their 1 slot item.

cooldown on teleport will kill the game
static is kinda op, but outside or normal you still have to do damage yourself
and your ideas to kill jsp would make jsp even more necessary lol

I would rather if they just get rid of open-trading though.

Don’t forget get rid of player count system to destroy abusers, exp/drop rates are no longer tied to player count.

Just because you incapable of doin sh*t it don’t mean you need to destroy other peoples fun. I love trading like many others that enjoy this gane. I don’t get how you love sniffin other peoples pants dude…
