WTB pride base for merc

I would like to buy a cheap base for pride. What are the typical options? Pride has no ED, so the base may not matter, right?

What is your class? I am not sure but warpike is pretty pop. These days. Not sure if pride works on warpike tho.

I used pride on my summon necro a while back and i didnt like it too much. The main reason was that it was missing crushing blow and life leech.

Here are some pieces of equipment to match with your pride.

  1. Gface w. Ias ed jewel CB
  2. Duress CB
  3. Rattlecage CB
    4 CoH LL
  4. Andy visage LL

Fort is not recommended. No ll or cb.

To answer your question, you want the fastest weapon for cb. Go google d2r ias calculator

Pride can be made in a Mancatcher now, which should be the fastest base, perfect for if you also want to throw a gface onto your Merc.

Thanks for the info!
I am interested to play barb or werewolf-druid with the pride on merc. Not sure if pride is better than or similar to Infinity for pure physical melees. I am thinking Pride will make merc as a support to provide ~300 ED for the main char. So, the CB part will be on my main char and I won’t depend on the merc to deal any damage.

Edit: Thank you guys for your input! I just got a thresher (cheaper than other bases) and will try.

Edit2: I think Reaper Toll on merc is better for werewolf-druid for the Decrepify. My barb has a Lawbringer for it. And for the martial assassin, infinity will be best since sin can deal fire or 3 elements damages.
