Would you rather be a psychiatric nurse or a community manager for the Diablo 2 forums?

It’s a real toss up.

Community Manager for D2R Forums easily and hands down. I recently spent some time in a psychiatric hospital and no way in Hell do I think any of the psychiatric nurses enjoyed being there one bit. Not to mention they have to physically be there with patients, and deal with literal mental problems (not too dissimilar from someone like you making such an asinine thread). In this way, I guess the main difference is D2R CMs only have to interact with us through a computer screen, whereas psychiatric nurses have to deal with the craziness that happens irl. So it’s not even a question, and you should feel bad for making this thread. May Diablo have mercy on your soul.

The thread wasn’t created to downplay anyone’s mental health problems, but you certainly added some context to the situation. Nobody is being forced to do anything. Some people get joy out of helping others. It’s a legitimate question.

I don’t think anyone thought that’s what the thread was created for.

That applies to CMs as well

No it isn’t. You’re just trolling (clearly, obviously)

Look, I’m sorry to hear you are triggered, but you’ve already drawn multiple similarities between the two positions on your own. It’s a legitimate question.

A nurse gets paid. Also they give meds to patients and alot of them get better with time. Just because u work as a psychiatric nurse it doesnt mean work with crazy ppl.
Mental health is a wide concept. Ppl with mental health issues could range all from stress related things to to domestic violence.

In many cases u would see more crazy ppl on the internet than in a hospital.
Obv if u work with picu or ppl who recieved compulsory then its a different thing.

Aren’t they the same thing?

super cuddles is insane. block posts. move on

I mean none of them do any actual work from what I’ve seen…

So can I just be both? Pay sounds good. Could do both of those and still do a real job. :stuck_out_tongue:

The forum is very similar to the dangerous patients section of a ward, so it depends on the payment
