They offered unlimited, shared or personal stash tabs purchasable with gold farmed in game (Or just provided straight away)?
Just a casual straw poll.
In Last Epoch you can buy a new very large stash tab (all tabs are shared) for 10,000 gold (earned in game). Each successive tab costs an additional 10,000 gold. Currently I have 50 tabs, and my next tab will cost around 500,000 gold. You can label these tabs, you can color these tabs, you can add icons to the tabs, you can sort them in categories (categories that you can name yourself). You can move entire tabs.
And of course many of you are familiar with the awesome (but real money rquired) stash tabs of POE.
If they kept the additional inventory tabs offline, and left the online mode alone, would that placate the purists?
as a purist i dont think the issue is extra stash space/customizable tabs, pretty sure extra stash space will be welcomed by almost everyone. its all those other weird changes casuals want implemented that we dont want
but no those changes would not make me play offline, bnet is the true experience
i only play offline once in awhile for a casual solo self found run of the game
yep. i dont think more stash tabs is a bad idea at all. i dont mind muling but stash tabs would be far superior since in D2:R we can’t freely make multiple accounts per cdkey like we could do in legacy. my account is clogged with mules. historically, i liked to keep mules off my account on a separate one
If you hate muling, this would be way worse. But your shares stash is saved in a particular file. You can keep multiple versions of that file, you just have to change the name. Easiest would be to append an extension to the file.
Like I said, it is very clunky and you won’t have access to all of them at once, but it is a way to extend your storage.
BTW this is also a way to transfer items from hardcore to softcore, and vice versa.
You’re right I would hate that more than muling.
Installed the betterSP mod from nexus. It was a disappointment. The 4 tabs are indeed larger. The character stash is larger, and the cube is much larger. But there are several “test” tabs that are not functional. Also for some reason the character animations seemed to revert to old school D2.
Just read today about the same mod on the sight and the author has upped drop rates, mob density etc… I just want a mod with more space for offline play that doesn’t screw around with the game mechanics.
If unlimited stash tabs were an option with single player I’d strongly consider switching back to single player. Although I’m having fun on battle net right now. Just not sure if I care enough about multiplayer as much as I used to. SP might be a better experience long term, but if I have to mule on SP it kinda defeats the purpose.
I’m already on single player so I guess this doesn’t apply to me but I’m in the same boat on desperately wanting more stash tabs. There is a program “gomule” which helps with storage and transferring items. While I don’t have any personal experience with it I know people used it for D2. It’s currently in somewhat of a beta mode for D2R. How it works is you launch it outside of the game and use a GUI to transfer between characters and you can also create extra stashes to store more items in. It’s certainly not as clean as having more tabs in game but it might be the best available option for today.
Sounds a bit like TQ vault (titanquest) and GD stash (Grim Dawn). I’m waiting. I have 50 tabs in Last Epoch. I just don’t get the devs stubbornness on the issue. “You will enjoy the game in the manner we wish you to enjoy it” They try to do their Jedi mind tricks but in the end this is a loot gathering game with very limited space for loot.
I know much of the loot is useless (uniques/sets and such) but I’m the kind of player who likes to gather the sets whether they are good or bad. My “set mule” is already stuffed to the gills with partial sets. I’ve narrowed a few sets down that I might actually use, and started saving just those.
What is the point of all these items if you have to vendor them for lack of space?
I love poe’s stash tabs. That game just got so bloated with league mechanics I can’t bring myself to play it anymore.
Yeah I’m right there with you. I don’t know how much post launch support Blizzard is planning for D2R beyond stability/bug patches and ladders but I really hope they do something about stash space. At the minimum I want them to allow unlimited tabs to be modded in in single player.
Ofc SP only, so far. since in D2R is purest hardcore x5-8 less drop chance ! compared to MP, Online is sup ez to abuse HR, I dug up there shako, cham, ists, thundergod and tons of hr uniq within 1 week farming meanwhile in SP mine highest is barely gul…
Not mention to the tradings and other casual thing. btw repeatly farm in SP doesnt engourage a player unless being enable x 8 players thus it gets u close to MP droprate for hr (but bear in mind its hard af to do it without having a decent gear, so there tons of grind ).
As for the stash, there are already mod for expanded one with 16x10 space + offers same for cube. altho it still aint enuf for desiring items ud like to store in, In light of recent events theres out Runes/Gems stackable mod, so I suppose Infinity stash mod is not far off.
