Pay attention blizzard. We don’t like d4, or immortal. We aren’t going to start liking them either.
Bet you’ll see a lot of people willing to buy more content on the game we actually like.
Do something with the monetary gate?
Be creative, it doesn’t have to be much. A ten dollar expansion with new quests for act 4 and a loot filter. Bet you make more off of it than expected.

Oh please, dont ask for spending money. D2 as it was, was always free.
I dont really want DLC but i would absolutely pay for something like a loot filter or currency tab if the alternative is never getting one.
Ideally they would add this in for free but i dont see that ever happeneing.

they could make the stash more expandable like in d3, and the drops making more sense… ( am getting sub lvl 20 random drops in hell diff, and a mf well over 100… )

We have more than enough stash. We even have shared stashes and can transfer items between our chars without creating a game and ask a friend to keep the game open in case it closes or whatever. Could argue that we been able to make as many accounts as we want in LOD but still I think if you don’t hoard every stupid item we really have enough space already.

totally agree, i also love d3, there are some things i like about d2r more , and some i like about d3 more, one thing about d3 is the on person storage. its not clustered with charms. yea i know i dont have to use charms, but if i got good ones its hard not to put them on. i normally put them in storage if i am doing cow runs and pick ups but its nice in d3 to have that storage. i love being able to pick the type of game i want in d2r and see how many are playing and for how long the game has been up. but although a ton of more drops happen in d3 with legendary, primals almost never drop and a character can only use one crafted primal for a character which makes that harder.
i still dont know how to play with a group in d4, i tried a few times but the clans were full so i gave up, and the tab for that is not always up. i was on a long 6 month trip to the Philippines when d4 came out so when i got back i got the game but never did the campaign just started in season . so i am a little lost in the game , and since im going solo its a fn grind the whole way, plus the monsters seem to be leveling up quicker than the gear i find really bad drops in the game. maybe its just me. it just took me a lot longer to figure out what was going on and what i should be doing in the game of d4. then i had to watch a lot of you tube videos ha ha
So… You want to pay the same company, the same crew who made Diablo 4 and Immortal to make an expansion for Diablo 2: Resurrected?
Read that again…
The same company, the same crew who made Diablo 4 and Immortal… To make an expansion for Diablo 2:Resurrected…
Think about it.
The only way I’d even think about it becoming a possibility is if Blizzard consulted with David Brevik and the Schaefer brothers on the project, and they were allowed to determine the direction of the expansion.

This is a cornerstone for D2 itemisation.
The community has made full use of the low level items, with low level duels of 9, 18, 30 and 49.
If you want a game where you can make progress on your character in 30 mins, go to D3 or D4.
D2 is for the long 2 month grinds.
Just fyi, mf can get up to the 700s so 100 is not that high.

This, and not to mention that items of all qualities can potentially be BiS. This is in stark difference with D3, where only legendaries matter and lower quality items serve only as mats for crafting. The previous season even included a feature of automatically converting them into mats. That says much about D3’s itemization.

No I would not want any DLC and would feel a bit betrayed if they added anything like that at this stage.
i would pay for stash tabs and loot filter, better pay the price so we can enjoy more new content.

No because they have made terrible gameplay changes and introduced new bugs.
No because they failed to bring basic core functionality like lobby, chat, and player features to parity with what it was two decades ago, and managed to make them much worse.
No because they lied outright about deleting content and moderating spam.
I’d rather they refund my D2R purchase. Until they fulfill their original promises with D2R I have stopped spending money on any Blizzard product. I probably won’t be spending money on this scam company ever again.

I think what he is arguing is that low level items should not he dropping in hell mode. I tend to agree with this because hell mode already is saturated with too many items clogging up the loot tables. It also makes target farming nightmare and normal mode less important.
Generally, when i farm in higher difficulties for any game, I want to make sure that only the best items can drop, but if low level items clutter the loot table at the top tier difficulty, that makes it a bad experience for me and it pulls me out if the fantasy that I just defeated the strongest monsters in the game.

yes i would buy d2r D.L.C.
“We”? Who’s we? You speak on behalf of the whole community?
I want to collect items in this game because there’s nothing else to do.
I would begrudgingly pay for more stash tabs and a currency tab if that meant that they would start putting in some manpower on this game.
And you know the best part about more stash tabs or a currency tabs? You don’t even need to buy them or use them, isn’t that wonderful?
paying a multi billion dollar company for things they should’ve already done? HAH. no thanks.
whoever WAS in charge of d2:R failed miserably, i don’t want to see anymore content from this new age blizzard team, they don’t know what makes a good game.
it bugs the hell out of me that I am not getting any significant higher loot… as well, while I have both d3and d4, I am still in a dispute with my retarded isp, who seems to think they can decide for me how I will be paying my bill… so the only way I can access the net at all currently is by tethering off of my cellphone, and my data plan isn’t the best…
No. Anything new will be just like d3 or d4 content because it’s who made those games. That is how they think, design, and draw content now so keep it in those games.
Blizzard North is long gone and new content should stay long gone. New content won’t magically fit d2
Stick to stuff that reuses existing content like what they have
