I realize the devs probably aren’t going to do much from here out, but I really like the Guild Stash feature of PoE. I mainly use it for just friends rather than randos, but either way, a communal shared stash between 10-20 people makes playing really nice because it gives you the option for asymmetric trades or just donating stuff to people you know are playing builds that could use it.
Just throwing it out there in case there’s a lottery-winning chance in hell the devs care to encourage people to be more social in at least some small measure.

That sounds like a greate feature! Right now we have discord channels with people spamming free stuff. It woukd be nice to host such things in game.
I disagree with this title.
It will rush more players to become more powerful due to Guild Stash.
Your suggestion brings rush to the domination of this game. The game is already dominated.
It can also be abuse by activating bot or bots & placing those bot founded powerful items in the Guild Stash & others can take use of those items.
One bot serving 10 to 20 players.
I totally disagree with title.
You are contradicting yourself here. It either is or isn’t already the case that the game is rush dominated: fact is that it already is. This change would do nothing about this.
Denying good features to players because of fears of bots usually ends up being a bad approach because you’ll have the bots either ways. At least let the legitimate players enjoy the game more/better. It’s only when bots undermine the genuine use of the feature where it may not be a good idea, but no amount of bots stops friends from helping each other in this way.

guilds were a feature they originally planned for but got scrapped. theres a decent amount of unused material in the game that was going to be used for guilds. they were planning on having a shared gold or bank or whatever it was, little clan buildings, and “quests” you could do for the guild that likely improved your character

edit: dont remember where i read that there was gonna be shared gold or bank, could just be making it up
I am not contradicting, you are misunderstanding me.
The game is already dominated & more domination & rush is not what we need, that is exactly what your suggestion is offering. We cant get through act 3 without the organs, that was implemented long time ago to stop the rush.
Another perfect feature such as Guild Stash for the bots, is the last thing we need in Diablo 2 Resurrected.
I disagree with the title nor do I like the feature.
The end.
I didn’t misunderstand. You formulated your idea poorly. Repeating your point doesn’t add validity to it. It was a bad argument and remains so.
Well I say yes, you say no, thats fine with me. I still disagree with the title & your suggestion.
Clan stash and trade house will do a lot for the game
You either play the game or you trade, currently you can’t do both and it’s annoying that you have to go to 3-4 places to look for trades
Also, coordinating with 10 people to know who has what to give for free falls apart easily, stash will be pretty good

clan stash sounds fine to me
an auction house would be cool too
just limit it to 10 listings/player with the option to set a buyout
no need for futher limitations, the game is already plagued with botters and rmters
what the hell are you even on about? TBH. you’re not making much sense.
sharing items with people is a bad things because… people share things anyway, this would only make it so you don’t have to be online at the exact same time. a botter, woudl be able to transfer the items ANYWAY since they can multi box and do it completely on their own time.
to be against this is absurd.

Idk about going full AH with it. I just want to asymmetrically give/trade items with friends.
well, i mean, why not bring to the game what we do out there?
and they have the skeleton from d3 AH
it doesnt even need to have the auction function
it can be just a tool where people go to look for trades
I’m more saying that I think trade is a pretty different topic than my suggestion. I am generally for changes to trade that don’t require 3rd party apps/sites to function, but I don’t see my suggestion doing this… at least, not at the macro scale.
oh ofc
those are different topics but i think they all fall under the “trade” category bc in the end a clan stash is just another way to transfer in game assets
I wouldn’t generalize it so broadly. Friends swapping items between each other is a very different beast than random strangers listing things for a desired price.
well, intend and reasons are always personal
but if you take the subjective part off all its left is the transference of assets
anyway
how exactly this clan stash would work?
is there a limit of clans?
can only one person make and be in a clan or it requires two players minimum?
You know, there are so many ways that would be “good enough” for me that I don’t really want to outline just one of them. As long as I can freely trade items with my friends, even if they aren’t online, that’s the goal. This might just be leaving an item for my buddy’s wind druid while he’s away, and next time I come on my Hydra sorc finds a special present that he left for me.
One of the nicer uses might be that I don’t have to leave what I’m doing to join his game to conduct a direct trade either. I can’t imagine this feature wouldn’t be tracked in real-time, otherwise the possibility for duping is just too obvious/easy.

It can be done simple.
You give the item you want to trade to a designated vendor and you choose from a list what you want for the item and someone elese can go to that vendor and find your item and see what you want for it and leave your asking item and take yours.
After that you can go and take his item he left.
How simple is this to code? I’d imagine simple enough as it’s a database enquiry every time you go there, but i might be wrong, i mean they couldn’t code d4 properly in 6 years
