Working on another hybrid build shape shifting / elemental druid build. Could use some advice

So, I got bored with Season seven on ladder this year and I have been screwing around with another hybrid slightly off meta build for the druid. I am doing a furry / Armageddon build on a druid with a little bit of summoning to fill in some gaps. I thought I would present the build here and maybe ask for some advice about anything I might want to change and how to better optomize it. Feedback is always welcome.

So, here is the core build to start with.

Shape shifting:
Werewolf : 1
Lycanthropy: 1
Feral Rage: 1
Rabies : 1
Furry: 20

Summoning:
Raven: 1
Spirit Wolf: 1
Dire Wolf: 1
Oak Sage: 20
Grizzly Bear: 1

Elemental:
Fire Storm: 20
Moulten Boulder: 1
Fissure: 1
Volcano: 1
Armageddon: 20

Stats:
Includes Boosts from Equips
Strength: 263
Dex: 140
Vit: Everything Else

Merc:
Act 3: Fire
Helmet: Flickering Flame
Armor: Oramus’s robes (perfect Amethists)
Weapon: Plague +2 skills, level 14 cleansing
Shield: Sigons (Swapping to Ethereal spirit Monach at 85 once 146 strength)

Gear:
Helmet: Jalals (um Rune)
Armor: Fortitude
Amulet: +2 druid skills, 5% mana steal, 15 all res, 25 mana
Ring 1: Raven Frost
Ring 2: Carrion Wind
Gloves: Immortal Kings
Belt: Immortal Kings
Boots: Natlas
Weapon: Earth Shifter Thunder Maul
Swap: Spirit Sword, Spirit Monarch
Charms: Torch, Anni, Misc +life, + AR, +4 max damage

So, I am on level 79 currently with the stats and gear I have above. At this point my Armageddon does 4k to 4.5 k damage and my physical attacks with the hammer deal 4k to 9.7K damage. I also have the low level twister process from Carrion Wind, along with the level 14 fissure proc from the earth Shifter maul that does a little over 500 damage per second on average. So, I am doing a mixture of fire and physical damage overall.

Additionally, my Merc provides 380% AR and around 325 fire damage to my attack and everyone else in the party along with his fire ball and fire bolt skills. The dual spirit bring me 4 extra levels of werewolf and lycanthropy when I transformed along with adding 4 extra levels to all of my summons. I normally have the full compliment of 5 spirit wolves, 3 dire wolves, the bear and my oak sage out. With the oak sage at level 32 I have 2,845 health. While my summons don’t do a lot of damage, they do tend to stay alive on lower player counts. With the massive health buff from the oak sage they tend to soak up some damage and draw some fire. Likewise, with the enchant merc, they each still deal his 324 fire damage on attack and have enough AR to hit intermittently. Although they are not a major part of this build apart from keeping me from getting overwhelmed.

Overall the build is a dual damage type between fire and physical with some AOE ability from the fissure proc and Armagedon. Once I get the frozen armor proc off of fortitude I have around 5,900 def and 11k AR. So, I have cleared hell difficulty and I have probably another 15 levels to go before I will tap out of the xp grind and I am trying to figure out how to round this build out. Currently, I have one socket quest left that will likely go to the hammer. My gear gives me max resistances on hell without needing anything from charms. I have 24 open slots in my inventory currently plus my cube. So, I have some wiggle room I just need to figure out how to round this out.

First, where should I put the rest of my points in terms of skills? Should I invest more into armagednon’s synergies, buff up one of the summons, or start pumping up lycanthropy for more health?

Second, what should I put in the Earth Shifter maul? I have 25 off weapon IAS and level 16 were Wolf. Would a shale rune matter or should I go with something else. Alternatively, should I grab an Eth Earth shifter and Zod it instead. My current one is 289 out of 300 ED.

Finally, what should I consider on my swap and to fill in some more of the inventory. should I go for max damage AR charms, or should I grab some elemental skillers? Likewise, would I be better off getting a CTA for my off hand, should a get an alternate weapon to deal with some immunities I run into like Azerwarth? Or should I just go with something like Mang Song’s lesson for the +5 to skills to help my summons and transformations.

Finally, there is the issue of my Merc. Currently he provides good AR to me, along with a slight boost from his enchant’s fire damage. He tends to stay out of trouble and attack at range. Likewise, he buffs all of my pets making them marginally effective in combat and giving them at least some damage against non fire immunes. He also provides a level 7 resist fire aura, level 14 cleansing and a chance to proc level 12 lower resist when he does get hit. Should I keep him or would I be better off with an an Act 2 might Merc with Infinity?

As always any advice is welcome. Thanks for reading

Sounds like a pretty cool build have you thought about giving it a try with using fire claws? Cause you’d get synergies with armageddons synergies maybe save 10 points out of oak sage and invest it into molten boulder? I have a fire claw werebear that’s pretty fun using a Thunder maul botd and a flickering flame that was 3 to fire claws so it’s 6 to claws from 3 to fireskills can get over 45k fireclaws. But I’m also not running much into elemental tree just for synergies.

that’s an intersting idea
