It was public hack called Project Andy 1.3/2.0 (aka tmc variant) near every1 used it in PvP, some rare builds were possible only cuz of Andy and became top tiers eg Tele Bowa or Vanquisher, also Andy gives possibility to watch their inv and check if some1 BM or not.
YES IIrc Andy vs Andy or Andy vs bot duels were tons more fun than normal Pub/GM sh1t! GIVE ME back my WIZZ gloves!!!
Correct; however, it was clear that the possibility existed.
The nice thing about these Blizzard D2R forums is that people will tell you what Blizzard big wigs say on twitter and reddit, etc…
I even made a Blizzard D2R forum post about Rod’s twitter comments, so you did not need to look elsewhere.
It has direct quotes, links, and images.
Well you are not their spokesman, so no offense but I do not read every post made by players telling things, half the time those posts are opinions, requests or similar things.
But still, the most important of the 3 notes I made remains the same, by the time this information got on twitter, and thus the earliest date you could have edited your post to reflect what you found on twitter, I had already bought the game and the trailer stating it would be a Remaster is also a lot older.
I wasn’t interested before D2R and I am surely not interested after D2R.
Yes it is very too far fetched.
Until D2R released, one could refund the game no questions asked (as long as you did not buy the D3 bundle).
Yeah and we all know people won’t usually do that after already having bought it based on one persons twitter post saying “if we were ever to do it” and “take a deep breath and relax. We’re not doing it.” and “You’re literally fighting against something that isn’t being done.” (thanks for the link btw, the post itself was pretty useful), it might stop you from buying it until after release or until more info arrises, but won’t cause you to refund even if you had read it (at least for most people).
It’s more in line with the try to have them spend the first time, if even a little they will have less barriers for spending money on it again.
He is literally saying It’s not going to happen, so while true the discussion might change to way you feel about their Remaster story, after already buying the game these posts won’t trigger a need to refund now, they know people will easier be hesistant to buy than triggered to refund.
And again still doesn’t change the fact that they were not transparant and clear from the start, this all happened on twitter, long after the trailer stating Remaster and sales had started as was being stated and where my response was directed against.
And besides, what use would 40 euro have on a Blizzard account when not planning to buy anymore Blizzard products.
Now as already posted (don’t think it was this post though) I had my 40 euro’s of fun with the game, will be my last purchase from Blizzard (well at least until it’s microsoft, if that happens and bobby is no longer calling the shots, I’ll have a look whether they changed their style).
lets wait and see. will not rush to buy D4.
While this makes sense logically, and I would normally agree with you, this is D2. The people that love this game, love this game. They are addicted.
Example:
I can’t count how many people I talked to personally that got banned for using maphack. Some complained and were pissed at blizzard, some were just sad and knew they had done something wrong. Obviously I don’t know what was going throught their heads or how they really felt. But they all went out and bought another copy of the game so they could keep playing.
It’s like the prostitute that gets smacked around by her pimp. These people can’t get enough, and if they screw this game up, whether on purpose or not, people will likely try out D4 in hopes of getting back that feeling from the original game.
I actually don’t think they are doing it on purpose. I think they are just incompotent. But, if it turned out to be true I wouldn’t be surprised.
No. It’s a foolish, illogical, angry-child-throwing-a-tantrum notion.
Drop it. Not everything that doesn’t happen the way you want it is some kind of evil/incompetent plot.
Sometimes, when other people don’t do what you want, YOU just aren’t as smart as you think you are.
Bobby Kotick didn’t get a solid gold house by making bad marketing decisions.
He got it by making good marketing decisions that “serious” gamers hate.
I dont see why the players of D2 would leave for D4 anyways. Theres no trading! Whats the point of an online ARPG if you cant trade the loot you find? D4 will be just as crappy as D3 and the dumb masses will still play it…just like Immortal.
“With what you know now, do you believe the studio is deliberately sabotaging D2R to make way for D4?”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
no they aren’t… its much simpler than that.
they got their money from the d2 fans, and now they want more money.
so they are screwing over the current d2 fans to attract the d3 fanbase.
as soon as they get our money they have no incentive to appeal to us anymore.
so the move onto the next group the way money from… even if that means screwing over the people who already gave them money.
False. Blizzard stated in multiple interviews pre-release from multiple Blizzard employees that changes were possible. Hete is a small sampling from a post about Blizzard’s pre-release comments.
Pre-release and pre-sales are not the same thing.
Correct. Up until launch, one could easily get a full D2R refund (assuming that one did not purchase the D3 bundle) so any one “fooled” prior to launch, could simply refund the game when seeing any of the myriad of widely reported distinct Blizzard intervuews about D2R.
Consumers had that ability. The directions were clearly pisted on this firum myltuple times for those who wanted pre-release refunds.
Yes I know, you said that in the previous post, I already replied to this statement and you said that was false, but you did not reply to what I wrote, I wasn’t talking about release.
I was talking about their advertisements and when the sales started, so long before release.
What possibility existed, mate, are you really so gullible? That is like the A-B-C of Marketing and Communication (people manipulation), please open 1 book and read. Like really, people, are you really that blind? I find it seriously hard to believe it.
Quote me with this: D2r will NEVER have the QoL we all want (loot filter, stackables). NEVER.
If they do that, 50% of the player base will not even consider buying D4. And with this we come to the OP’s answer:
They aren’t deliberately “destroying” it, they are deliberately “toying” with it with the full knowledge that by 2-3 patches there is high chance much of the original game will be broken and people will look out for something new… when D4 comes out
It’s all so simple. If you can use the Brain and connect 3 dots together.
