Wirt's let not working

I got a Wirt’s leg with lettering in red. I got it perhaps in NM. Now it would not work in any level of difficulty. Can someone tell me why, and how to get it to work again? I did get a Wirt’s leg working before, why does it not working now?:thinking:

Your leg has been obtained in the wrong difficulkty, you can’t use a Nightmare leg in Hell for example.

Go back in Tristram and get a new one.

what will I do with the old one? can I sell it to Charsi? Just curious. Nah, I just threw it to the ground. Hoping that it won’t screw up something else.

put some gems in it and use it as weapon

I like to load 'em up with Lo’s and really get that Deadly Strike rollin. I call 'em Lo Legs and sell / trade them. They’re somethin else.

Yeah right, I believe you. Maybe the Jah and Ber to make it more deadly. :nerd_face:

Drop it on the ground, you can’t sell it.

Ah yes! Lo Leg just had a nice ring to it, but a Jah and Ber will really make it shine. You sir, could be a co-founder of Lo Legs LLC with ideas like that! :wink:

i always take a wirt’s leg and put a jah, ith and ber rune in it… Why you may ask? It’s an Enigma.

if you have a quest item from another difficulty it will not let you obtain a new one.
throw it on the ground…

works the same will all quest items.
the book of skill for instance, you cant have more then 1 in your bank - no point in stockpiling that stuff.

saves room in the stash

It’s still not working. I went to Tristam in hell difficulty, got another leg, went back to Rogue Emcamp (also in Hell) tried again in the cube with a tome of Portal. And It’s still not working! The lettering had turned from white to red. OMG, what’s wrong?

You need to have killed Baal in this difficulty to be able to open a portal to cows.

There is one big problem: I can hardly pass act 3 in Hell. So to kill Baal in act 5 is not possible. Can I go back to NM Tristam to get a new leg and try to open the Cow sanctuary there?

Yes, you can go back to NM and open a cow level there but only with a leg found in NM.

are u online or single player cause if ur online u can get someone to rush u thru hell most ppl will want forge as payment its up to u if u want to give up ur forge but it is possible to find ppl who will do it free also u need to be lvl 60 to do hell ancients so u can do baal
