I believe you don’t need to have a phone to play Diablo Immortal. One Emulator on Windows/Mac seems to do quite well.
With emulator this game is like PC game. Don’t say no before having a single try? Currently this game has quite good rating.
I don’t like mobile game mainly because small screen hurts my eye.

Ya I’m in the same boat, it’s like D3, which I am so burnt out of, so just by looks I’ll be turned off, and then it’s a mobile game, so another notch against it. At this point it’s D2R until D4 and hopefully D4 isn’t a mess because then it’s strictly D2R heh.
D4 Will be a mix of D2 and D3. Time can only go forward.
I am adjusting myself to any style so that I can have different games to play.
I can’t play the same style over and over then I will get bored. I like to switch games every now and then.
isn’t diablo 3 something like diablo immortal only better ? Why an emulator for a worse slimmed down game that you already have. Just curious 
I watched a stream of the alpha. This is a budget version of Diablo 3 that tries to rob you of your money. Why would I play this instead of the original that is at least free of microtransactions?
Someone will make a 30 second video with the important lore and we can all move on.
And we also have to see if it will run on an emultaor without much hassle. This will be the biggest hurdle for “casual PC players” that are interested, for whatever reason.

I’m not that desperate to play diablo thumb block edition with a mouse arrow.
(my thumbs are wide. My phone is small enough to be managed with ONE HAND, and it will stay that way.)

Diablo Immortal will be created with aggressive microtransactions in mind, akin to the cancer that is mobile gaming.
This is why Blizzard were severely heckled at the reveal. In a room full of their loyal core audience of 20+ years (PC Gamers) they tried to feed that mobile junk to us and were genuinely confused about the backlash. I mean, you couldn’t possibly get any more tone deaf than that unless you’ve lost touch with your core audience.
I wouldn’t play it on my tablet, phone, emulator or even a PC version.

When I am at home a can play actually good PC games and when I am on the go I have my Gameboy and Nintendo DS emulators

There’s no point sinking time in to cell phone games, every cell game I ever played, I mastered them without throwing money at and then they shut the servers down.

Diablo: Immortal will tank after a year or two and everyone who spent money on it is going to get burned so badly… trust me… it won’t survive with D2R and D4… they’ve created their own competition because they don’t want to look foolish and cancel Diablo: Immortal… it’s a pride thing at this point.
D2R is complete damage control and an apology for Diablo: Immortal if no one’s figured that out yet…
I’m disgusted by the concept of mobile games, and take offense to the idea that I shouldn’t say no to something before I’ve tried it.
Every single reply said no to Diablo Immortal. This is completely fine.
I am just trying to prove one thing: people here love Diablo 2 more because D2 suits their taste(no MTX, no emulator) than D2 being great objectively among other games. Diablo Immortal isn’t even out yet and it has mass improvement and currently has good rating.

I don’t like this kind of mobile gaming. I will play it only if devs make it in a form of expansion for D2R … so there is no reason for emulator.

I would at the very least like to know the story, I know a lot of people didn’t like what happened in D3, but I would like to know more about what became of some of the NPCs we met. I read that at least Charsi is in there.
You are asking a sample group who already pre-purchased D2R so they certainly have expressed a preference for a particular style of gameplay. I would expect very few people in this group would jump to play it. I also don’t think D:I is aimed at this group either. It is aimed at a different audience.
Would I though? Maybe. I would prefer no emulator. They should just let me play it on PC. I do want to play through the lore and stuff. Check out the various game systems.
I predict that D:I will fail miserably. Also why did they remove witchdoctor? Because of China?
