Will china servers will make the influx of botted items worse or better
i can see an argument for it both ways.
i remember back on launch when blizzard lied and said they would properly handle botters that economy lasted 2 months rather than 4 days, before all the botters learned blizzard isnt ganna do jack to stop them
obviously there will be an absurd amount of Chinese botted items, but luckly for us they have their own server that cant trade with us.
the question is…
do u think that will make all the current botting sites, use their computers to bot on the china realm… and get a much more receptive audience for pay to win. they will need to buy new accounts, and they will stil have thier old accounts
or will the provenance of “how profitable it is in china” create more pay to win sites.
and some of them will also try to bot on the asian real making a even bigger influx of botters which will then bleed globally like it currently does?

I think they will shift on the hotter market, which means that maybe there will be a slight improvement first.
Long term it will just return or gets even worse. More bots in total.
China will be seperate, as it has to be, so the addition of a server for china isn’t going to change thintgs much here. The same RMT bots will always be around but I wouldn’t expect things to change much just because it’s now officially available in their home market.
Well right but the argument could be made that many of these farmers who would be normally botting and causing the influx of items on the global server, they could divert their botting resources at least for a while to farming this new separate server thus reducing their overall impact on our OG server… I personally don’t think the impact will be huge… maybe the first week will be better for us, but I can’t imagine they will rake in a ton of money. Average chinese has very little disposable income… Farming and selling for USD works because the conversion rates to yuan are still very favorable…one SOJ sold to a westerner can cover electricty costs for a small household in sichuan
there’s botting everywhere i guess. there are probably less dedicated bot-farms with a basement full of underpaid slave-gamers over here though.
i guess there will be less of them but still there will be some of them.
yeah ive wanted the realkms to be region locked for a while.
as someone who pays attention to anni walked as i was an anni farmer in LOD.
there was been like 50 walks on asia… and i think 1 NA? maybe 2-3 on EU?
all those non sojs botted items are bleeding across realms.
and the abilty to play the same character on another realm is just… it seems so stupid to me based on the damage it does to all the non asia
Wont matter…eventually the residual value of rune currency will exponentially deplete and it will change to small charms. Never has mattered
obviously items go down in value over time… but season 1 took 2 months… season 2 to took a month and a half… season 3 took about 1 month
but by season 4 in under 2 weeks the economy was what we saw month 2 in season 1.
by now… i think we’re 8 or 9?
still about 1-2 weeks
going back to like at least 1 month would be nice.
that being said… my time is now being split between d2R and poe2
because sadly the season both have the same length and start within days of each other
also playing palworld becuase its amazing.
