Did Bliz ever say why D2R ladder season 3 was so short (about 2.5 months, I believe)? How long is season 4 expected to be? Thanks.

they want d2 d3 and d4 season starts to be at max distance from each other. lets see how this exactly turns out
Season 4 should be back to around 4 months. They reset D2R’s ladder early so that it would be nearing the boring stage as D4 was releasing, attempting to force people into buying D4. They claimed they were trying to make it so that people could participate in multiple ladders and that their restart times wouldn’t overlap.

I have been thinking of asking a similar question.
Do we know how long will season 4 last?
I have enough gear to fully equip a second character, but if this ladder is 3 months long I will wait to start fresh at the next season. If it is 4 months, I will start a new one right now.
If they keep adding things like mosaic, nobody will care about new ladder season starts.
it’s because they don’t care about d2:r. we actually haven’t had a ladder “season” of the same length since they started. food for thought?
As far as I know, seasons are suppose to be 4 months long going forward. If that holds up, we’re only about halfway through the current season. Season 5 would start around the beginning of September.
I’m in a similar boat myself. I wasn’t really planning on Torch farming this season for example, but now I’m thinking about going ahead and getting a smite Pally together. Sorc Torches are insanely expensive. Like you’re talking about though, I probably wouldn’t bother if I knew the season was going to be shorter.
To keep there titles spaces so people can play them all, it is why wow never get a patch when others game do, the idea it to respect the time of there hardcore fans thay play multiple titles
well they sure missed the mark of respecting the hardcore fans when it comes to d2:r… making the game for the casuals, you really think they care about us like that? HAH.
Because, botys/jsp/d2stores cannot profit from a longer season! kot & crew have an agreement with botters, they only ban them when cd keys are on sale and everybody makes money …

But as long as YOU throw money at them, they will take a 18" long screw and a dewalt drill with a fully charged 6 amp battery and screw it into your spine at the slowest speed possible! Why?
