Why people cry about ladder so much?

I mean like what the hell. Why is so many people crying that much about ladder start. How does it matter if it starts tomorrow or in month? It was issue maybe at release, but now we are past that. We are playing season 0 already. Its basicly identical as season in past, we just had it at release. We are not at 6 month season mark yet anyway.

Current game mode is what season used to be, we have all ladder staff, well - not increased difficulty but nobodoy cares about that, 98% of player base dont even know about different difficulty setting anyway.

Yeah we dont have ladder, so what? who even carea bout that? few no lifer and people who share accounts. majority of player base doesnt care about it.

People will complain about anything.

If the ladder was released early with no changes, they’d be complaining about no changes. Now we’re dealing with them complaining about the ladder being late. If there’s no one complaining for a period of time, someone would probably complain about no one complaining.

See, I’m complaining about people complaining. It’s a complicated subject.

Sooner or later, the ladder will be released, and we’ll all be like Ooooooohhhhh Ahhhhhhh… Then someone will start complaining about something again, and the cycle will repeat for ever and ever until the end of time.

Motivation. If I know ladder will start tomorrow, I don’t want to spend time working on a char that will be deleted and restarted tomorrow. If tomorrow is the start of ladder it’s time to do the HC loot duels to clear up the character slots so I can re-make my characters on ladder.

If I know ladder is two months off I can plan accordingly and ‘accomplish’ something. If I know ladder starts next week I’ll go through my characters and mules, decide what I keep on non-ladder and get ready to let chars die or delete them.

There really is no motivation to play a char or farm for gear I’ll be deleting next week.

Non ladder characters are not being deleted, who told you that?

I have 20 char slots, I have 20 chars now. How will I make a new char for ladder without deleting the ones I currently have?

Did you get a memo they are granting us more char slots with the ladder?:wink:

Assuming I make 2 ladder chars, I’ll probably need 3 mules to facilitate those 2 chars. That means I need to clear up 5 chars to make ladder work.

Well what will happen to your season char then? Same thing so its not really different.

Well this is certainly issue which need to be solved by blizzard.

End of a season was always a down time for everyone I knew who played. The best times were the day before ladder starts and we would all duel with our chars. Kill them off and re-make them on the new ladder.

I figure if I make 2 chars per ladder, and need 5 slots total per ladder, I’ll just rotate them around. Old Ladder chars will eventually get deleted when I re-do them on ladder…

Some of us only play ladder and delete everything at the end of the season.

In fact, I don’t understand the people that play non-ladder. How can you enjoy that?

I guess we’ll never understand each other.

I am in no hurry either, but given how aggressively the ladder is featured in the game’s marketting, I don’t fault them for being grumpy about its absence 5 months later.

i don’t think this is right, i am so tired of people complaining about people complaining because people aren’t complaining i don’t think people would complain if other people stopped complaining…

whelp that’s it for my complaint on people complaining about complaining on speculation of complaining.

Think of the rmt and third party currency traders! They need a reset already to bump prices and get back to booming business. In seriousness though, people are just antsy and want something to gripe about, and some value the trade meta more than anything, and want that reset.

I don’t get what you are saying, really.
There are exactly 2 reasons to play ladder

  1. fresh economy to abuse it to get rich - have that feeling something worthwhile can drop aside from HRs
  2. you are participating in ladder race (seems like nobody really does)

non ladder is for those who don’t have 24/7 to play the game and slowly wants to build towards their endgame gear (real gg is practically impossible)
