-no option to view people’s profile or level, or whisper them
-game names don’t appear in the textbox up the top when you click on them, so when the lobby inevitably reshuffles like it always does every 5 seconds or so you’ve lost track of the game you were interested in
-takes ages to load game info after clicking on it, compounding the above issue
-trying to join a full or non existent game means you now have to wait like 10 seconds to rejoin another game otherwise you get the “please check your internet” error message, which again compounds the above issue with losing track of games
-no way to filter games by server location or time created (the former is especially annoying as an oce player, as I don’t even have the option of seeing usa based games at all while playing on the americas server)
-character limit for game description is way too low
-doesn’t even look good, the text/chat area in particular looks very low quality
this seems like the easiest part of the game to get right, so what the hell happened?

I agree - the lobby needs a lot of attention. Hopefully it’ll be renovated soon!

We also need channels back. I don’t see any PvP games on MY list, but imagine if we had a PvP channel, boom, you immediately have an in game PvP community with people discussing duels, spamming duel games, builds, etc. Same goes for Trade, Rush, Run channels, I said it 1000 times before and I’ll say it 10,000 times more.

They have hands, feet and mouth full with server issues. I guess in about 6 months or so they will have time for the abysmal lobby. The beta was way too short.
Just be glad you’re not looking for lobbies on console.
You literally cannot see lobbies, and based on what you’re “running” or what quest you pick, you get tossed into a random game with the same parameters.
At least, you would if the console servers were even up right now. They’ve been down for nearly 24 hrs.
I had to buy it on the pc because 9/10 games on console are just fresh games because you never join anyone anyways, and nobody ever joins yours.

Yes the lobby is atrocious and finding a game is a challenge 
However…today there are problems much more important to deal with : servers instability, queues…I mean it’s lunchbreak, wanted to play, 122th position in the queue. Guess it’s dead.

I said this before. I think the lobby is the worst part by far of the game, and it is what will kill it for the majority of players. Server/game issues and crashes are bad but those will completely go away, even if it takes time. Now the lobby is one thing i would not have bought the game if i knew it would be like this.

Same here. I had no idea how important D2 lobby was before I saw D2R lobby. It just completely killed my nostalgia for D2.
How difficult was it for example to make hardcore characters appear in battle stance, to differentiate them more other than just writing the their name in red?
I hope that they will completely overhaul it.
