Why do I keep looting low-level green gears in hell? Are they sharing the same drop pool?
Hell drops everything, no low level items are excluded.
this is normal you can drop better gear as well
This isn’t in diablo 3 where necessarily relevant items fall from the sky every 20 minutes.
Its because high level items are difficult to find and much more rare.
Being in hell doesn’t guarantee hell quality drops, it just means the monsters you kill can drop up to that level of item.
You’re going to find a lot of low level stuff even in end game.
On the bright side, low level items like SoJ, Nagelrings, Gull daggers and many others still retain value and are useful even to high level characters.
Unlike D3, just because an item is lower level in D2 doesn’t mean it’s worthless.
Low sets can be pretty awesome too. Tons of people want sigon’s, and I’ve found angelic and cleglaw’s to be rather awesome as well.
