Why eth bow is not possible?

I mean D&D has had magic arrows forever as well.

My issue with adding magic quivers to D2 is that frankly Bowazon have been just fine, and were even before the 2.4 buffs. They don’t need any more power. They still massively out perform every melee.

The issue is that a few builds Blizz/Light sorcs, Hammer/Foh Pallys, and Javazons are just way too powerful as Blizzard didn’t account for the extra +13 or more skills everyone runs around with these days when they calculated synergies back in 1.10.

The added mods could be slight like +5% more life or +250-+500 cold damage or +15% elemental damage. Maybe a magicaly enhanced quiver has faster arrows but at 25% less physical damage, or heavy arrows but increases physical damage by +25%.

Bow damage is too low

Because they dont have durability.

Not All A Phaseblade can’t be Ethereal, And that’s the way the game was put together Natch

You can upgrade to eth phaseblade , you just can’t get a eth phaseblade to drop.

You are right but there is a little tiny loop hole.

It’s bad game design. There is a reason why every physical class goes for the same runewords…

This sums it all up. Nerfs are needed, not buffs.

Nerf top end, buff bottom end?

Under performing builds still need buffs, yes. Melee classes, crossbows and the fire sub tree for bowazons come to mind.

Omg please
An ideal world

Well they decided to make arrows the artificial durability of bows

But I’d rather have quivers with mods rather than Ethereal bows
