I played a mod the project diablo 2 a few months ago, the average online there was 5k-10k, and I saw about 700 games in the lobby.
Therefore, I know there are thousands of games in d2r exist at the same time.
Why doesn’t the d2r lobby show all games? this is error
Why is the lobby refreshed every 10 seconds? The game I’m looking information at just disappears after this autorefresh
Why is the name of the game not copied into the namebox as it was in the legacy?
Why can’t I enter the game by double clicking mouse.
Why is the lobby so awful?

On HC it will only show 2 lobbies sometimes even though I know other games exist because I will have just been in them a few minutes ago

Thanks for saying that! I mentioned it in the beta. I don’t mind the refresh, it’s similar to legacy, but reported in the beta the the game name should auto copy when you click on it so if the list resets you can still hit join.

By right the game have at least 1000 rooms.
We can only see random 20 rooms with automatic refresh every seconds
even counter strike servers can view more rooms than this D2r LOL and able to filter
I do not see why D2R cannot do this.

They shold split games list section into:
Runs // Trade / Quests
So when i click run i will see 20-30 games im interesting in.
If i click trade i will see 20-30 possibilities to trade.
If i’m willing to run quest i will se 20-30 possibilities to join in.
D2 game lobby just need be smart. Now the way it is the system is dummie.

in the middle of the night in hardcore hell there’s often … clears throat … ZERO game.

People need to start talking about this more so they actually fix it. This isn’t how Diablo 2 Battle net played 20 years ago for christs sake. We need to see ALL games, and be able to filter through them, add options for ping, etc.

PD2’s population dropped from 10K+ (during the first season) to roughly 5K during the current one (3rd season), if you played 2 months ago (so when the 3rd season started), when I tried the /users command, the total number was at barely 5K. (and when I tried some weeks ago, even before D2R launch, it was aroung 1,5k players).
I think you have inflated the number a little.
5k falls into his 5k-10k range and also weird point to argue especially when you agree with it

I play classic HC, most of the time I see NO games at all, and sometimes only 1 which has been going for 30+ minutes.
I know there are more games, but for some reason the lobby doesn’t want to show them.

lobby won’t s how games of different character types, i.e. hardcore/not hardcore/expansion/not expansion.
Lobby won’t show games if you’re outside of the level restriction the creator set.
Lobby won’t show games in a different difficulty level than that of your character’s highest (but you can still create them)
The number of people who play non-expansion/hardcore is very small. You’re not going to see tons of games.

The game Lobby interface is clunky and terrible.
It needs a complete overhaul.

The lobby screen is probably the most disappointing thing about this game. As someone said above, it needs a complete overhaul.
- You can click on a game to join and it will disappear from the list.
- No filter or search.
- Hell lobbies in particular are clogged with trades, very hard to find an actual game to join
- If you try to create a game with a name that’s already in use you get locked out from creating a game for a min.
- The chat windows are below par too, block doesn’t really work

if a game disappears from the list… it doesnt exist anymore.it is not unusual for games to appear and disappear quickly.
