And that by literally over 80%?
Because that’s the way it is
Eh Pnova necs are already quite strong in PvM, nearly an S tier build…if they could use an a2 merc with infinity to lower pr, it would make them pretty broken…
I dont understand it too. But @Guitars is right. PNova Necros are really strong.
Ill use normally if i can buy it an infinity on my merc and insight on my iron golem. This with some skeletons and CE kills every monster in seconds. So buff would be cool but isnt necessary.
Lorewise it would be unholy for a Paladin aura to affect poison resistance since Paladins don’t use poison.
Salvation is similar in that it only increases elemental resists and not poison resistance, but that’s what Cleansing is for.
Ok
Yeah… no. Not even close to S-Tier in p7+. “B-but pits ;_;” yeah… no.
The thing is, CE+pNova aren’t even half as good as the go-to mfers are. p7+ is the way to go for efficient mf unless you are barb. It would be kinda nice if every character had a build with comparable clearing speed in p8 OR the stronger builds (hammer, lite, Java) get tonned down to the clearing speeds of necro.
Ugh… hard to argue with that BUT lorewise conviction doesn’t need to reduce Defense, since lorewise pala is always righteous and never misses to hit the bad guys. Smite is the proof of that. And yet conviction reduces defense which goes against lore.
Yeah came here to say that
Guitars once again showing that he not only a toxic troll but one that lacks game knowledge at that
Psn nec is only effective in p1 scenarios, atrocious against bosses
Poison not stacking is a sad limitation
Paladins have no poison skills at all. So, having it gut poison resist would not be an expected strategy for them. However, the real reason is a lot simpler. The way poison damage works is that it’s a slow kill on monsters. But against players left unchecked it can gut your hp pretty quick. There are quite a few poison monsters in the game naturally and if one of them spawned as a boss with a conviction aura it would lead to some nasty deaths. Not a huge deal in normal, but it would end some hardcore runners games. So, Blizzard kept that resist out of the equation.
Because its meant to work with Vengeance, not just FoH. Dragon, Dream came much later with patch 1.10. Its a relic from development.
Trav, Eld, Shenk, Pindle, Nihl, Ancient Tunnels, Chaos, Cows, etc what the f are you smoking? A fully geared Pnova nec is one of the best PvM builds. I have made over a dozen in classic + d2r so gtfo… https://d2.maxroll.gg/tierlists/overall-tier-list
PNova, S tier. Smh sekscalibure’s clownery rubbing off on others on this forum.
The irony from sekscalibure the clown stay pressed
So you’re making the same mistake for 20 years by farming inefficiently. How’s your s-tier smiter in p8 CS fullclear doin?
people really mistake maxroll s-tier p1 build with something p8 viable?
anyway…i dont like infinity and dont like the current immunity system
that said i think those two should change before adressing elemental builds
but this topic isnt about general game balance
it is about a specifc spec
poison is in general coded differently from the others dmg type affected by convic which may puts it in a different category
maybe they just forgot to add poison res to convic effect
oh man, the day that secks exceeds guitar in making proper posts i might just die.
Because Conviction was designed for vengenace skill and it doesnt have poison damage. And it need lower enemy def to be able hit.
It reduces all enemy resists…
poison is not included in all resists…
Paladins do not benefit what so ever from - poison resist to enemies.
Because that is what lower resist is for?
You know, to promote multi class utility.
