i thought u ENABLED plague… not changed runes to make it >.>

thought it was sheal sense they added it to the game at first season launch?

yeah, but in the original code… and in modsthe modes who enabled it from the original code its fal…
i mean granted sheal makes more sense becuase having ias is useful in a weapon but my google result showed the orginal rw recipe… with fal. which is the same recipe i use in path of diablo, with a fal
and since they dont update arreat summit or have an new official site
im supposed to what? memorize patch notes from a year ago.
still feels bad that my google result showed me the old recipe.
both recipes show up on google in 1 and 2
i just dont understand why they changed the recipe in the first place
It’d be nice if they created an Arreat Summit for D2:R, and also move the original Arreat Summit to a server with a more stable connection, as it has its moments where it doesn’t load.
diablo.fandom.com has proven to be a good source of information about both D2 and D2:R.

If you are going to do a google search for the runeword anyway, why not just control search the patch page you are already searching randomly online lol
because i didn’t expect them to change the runeword runes…
there is absolute no precedent for them ever changing the recipes for runewords before… it never crossed by mind they would change the runes it takes to make it
i assumed that when made my plague it would be the same runes it has been in path fo diablo and the same runes that were coded into the game for 20 years.
if they changed a not commonly used RW like “ice”

plague isnt listed there because it was never enabled in the base game
so when i googled it… it showed the runeword on how it was programmed for 20 years. in single player mods, and in online mods
i dont normally go to other sites
because arreat summit is basically the best and has all the info i need 95% of the time

Whenever I google search for pictures of upped uniques and various runewords, I try to ensure it’s not from a mod. Maxroll character planner has made that process easier with D2R. However, if something isn’t on the Arreat Summit, probably always best to consult the official patch notes. It sucks that you have to consult two different places for D2R, but usually better to consult with an official source before committing to using a rare resource. Maybe one day, an official site or in-game list will be done. At least you can check through the patch notes directly from the launcher.
Wowhead marks their pages with the game version. You don’t have to guess. For 2.5 and Season 2:
That sounds like your problem…plague in d2 is never officially released mean that they can change it anytimes before pfficial release anyways. Just because someone data mine the lost of rw doesnt mean that’s the final version.

Don’t think, just read the actual patch notes.
The original code hasn’t been a good source since patches after 1.07
Somethig that has never seen the light of day in game, had a slight change? I’m calling the cops!
