Just release them in the website or forums, It’s so cringe having hunt for different influencers in orderd to know what is coming. D2 community is old knocking in the 40s boomers we don’t follow social media all the time.

Blizz is making a hype train, it seems they will be releasing runewords every day this week. We got DBrunksi yesturday, Rhykker and MacroBioBoi today. I’ll bet we get a more tomorrow etc. That would point to the patch ideally by Friday for a weekend run through.

Todays newer gamers will never know what it was like to troubleshoot IRQ/DMA conflicts, or the pain of loading drivers in the correct order to squeeze as many bytes of that 640k base memory that we could.

It should be both. For these streamer/youtubers they could use some time to look it over then make content on it. Then they can release their content when blizzard makes a post on the forums about it. That’s my thought at least.

If they released patch notes on their forum then everyone would be clambering here to read them.
Still wouldn’t, there’s plenty of blogs, news media and YouTubers that would cover the patch notes so people still would not come to the forum.
They would much rather talked about it in a discord server than this forum
It takes time to repost patch notes in another forum/blog, and even longer to cut a video on YouTube or from a stream. If they get the news here first that’s what matters most.

…here my thoughts on what some dude said
newpaper = available to read whenever(has a delay of having to wait for it to be deliver)
radio = audio but not available whenever(doesn’t have a delay though)
early tv system =radio with images incorporated but not available whenever to listen to what wish to listen
2016ish tv = radio with images incorporated + integrated recording now available
internet = radio,phone,tv, database, source of info, hystoric(a giant hybrid monster that cover all previous functions)
now for gaming thats a little different because a game need to fit different ppl taste… amusingly not all corps build it as an upgrade…some are even downgrade
inv space quality = can range from too low…decent…epic and unlimited
ppl hate clogging when it come to most players…so best option is going for epic//unlimited
player loots type: between FFA and PL…there sort of chaos oppinions about it…so how about mix both ? make loots ffa + small chance of a PL(3 time rarer than the ffa loots)…that way it retain most of D2 spirit while also granting part of some players wishes…keep drop rates the same for ffa…but PL get 1/3 of ffa drop rate
there can be middle ground to everything when oppinions of ppl are nearer the 50/50
a boomer when it come to games is someone that refuse any improvements or change(they ain’t even willing to go middle ground)…though sometime things are change too much(go fully 1 sided because of an uncaring dev/director)
i leave it at that because its a headache to phrase things right…and i have other stuff on my daily planning than writing a wall
