Explain to me why I have 100-125 ping all day when normally I get 20-40 in every other game (from east coast)

Could be any one of the hops between your ISP and Blizzard that may be causing the lag.
If you want to investigate, download winMTR:
Plug your regions IP into WinMTR and click Start. Let it run for a good 20 minutes, then check what IP starts lagging, and if there is any loss.
Diablo II: Resurrected server IPs:

There is an export log option in WinMTR, so you might be able to forward the logs to your ISP’s support email, and they may be able to relay them to whatever hop may be having trouble so they can fix it.
If it is a hop that is causing the lag, their main pipe may be down and they might be running on a smaller backup pipe, or your connection could be rerouted through a longer indirect (and laggy) path. It happens for example when a construction worker cuts a fiber line by accident.

Nah literally everyone in game is talking **** about the servers - its not my isp.

This guy is why you shouldn’t help people with internet trouble. They don’t want solutions or to self diagnose, they want to complain.

Just because there is lag and/or loss doesn’t automatically mean that Blizzard is at fault. If you had knowledge on how internet routing works, you’d know this. I pointed you to a tool to help diagnose the issue, but I guess you just “know” it’s Blizzards fault.
Yep, sounds about right.
I mean, I can say with ladder launch, there has been a noticeable degradation of the servers/ping/lag/whatever you wanna call it. I’m in California yet Americas has been slowly and steadily turning to mud, meanwhile I can go on EU and it’s better experience than NA? That…shouldn’t be happening. And I can confirm, nothing has changed on my end. Hence…do with that info whatever you will.
