I was thinking 2x eth lastwish Dimensional blades but way too expensive. Maybe with the current dupe method on D2R…
That’s also a great setup. He’s basicly immortal in that gear.
They can also kill Ubers alone, but that takes like half a day.

also, RIP from mercs lawbringer will prevent you from horking (any “body target” skill i think)
With Griefs and Last Wishes all over the place, its very unlikely the Lawbringer will get any serious kill numbers.
Its why i love Grief/Lawbringer. Lawbringer decrep really does compliment Griefs damage - but it also compliments crushing blow. Crushing blow is as effective on a Lawbeinger as it is a Grief and decrep makes it better.

I use one paired with dream,HOJ,Azurewrath and dragon and paired with my auradin using conviction he literally shreds through enemies,it takes him like 7 seconds to take down a P4 diablo.without conviction effecting diablo not sure how long it would take
its extremely harmful for summon necs that relies on mercs kills to get corpses
for barb, i personally dont wanna miss any hork, its the reason i dont bring my merc to trav

I use an act 5 merc (frenzy) with dual griefs pb along my Fohdin, best description for him is a ‘‘bee from hell’’ , really viable option as a merc
My Orbwall sorc used A5 with headstriker and Plague when she was farming arachnid lair. The cleansing aura was nice to have, the CtC lower res when struck helped with firewall if mobs were resistant to fire (for when I got bored and went to Chaos), and headstriker was nice if a mob was cold and fire immune. Then they came out with sunder charms, so once those make it over to NL, I haven’t decided what to do for her merc. Probably respec into full Blizz + FO and change merc to A2 Insight since she looks like she’ll have mana problems and there won’t be a mob she doesn’t do full damage against so no need for anything from her merc except Insight so far as I can tell.
Using act 5 merc with my lvl 44 holy fire auradin, using plague and phoenix on merc as to utilize cleansing for all poison and -fire resist adds to my conviction and sunder charm. Arreats helm and fortitude. He is a born killer!!!
My fohdin uses act 5 merc with azurewrath and plague.
A5 ist great, running grief and lawbringer with forti an arreats. Solid option. Now they need to boost A3 a lot and maybe a bit A1.
Inject in the last two some brains as well. Overall nice change with 2.4. Love it!
I got so tired of A2 merc standing in a corner while I was getting pummeled in the face. A5 merc is an aggressive killing machine and I love him.
I am using full sazabi’s and lawbringer right now, more DR than treachery, more life leech than tals mask all res 30, psn length reduced by 75% and PDR by 16%
Now that is definitely budget before you get the super nice gg end game items. But Lawbringer + Plague seems to do really well also

I think I’m going to use Grief and Last Wish on my Barb while using whirlwind, while the Frenzy Merc uses Grief and Lawbringer. We still get the might aura and decrepify, while not triggering the blind or life tap because I’m using whirlwind.

You know, that isnt a bad idea at all. Good shout. You wont get the benefits against undead etc though, although your merc will.

Thanks. He can have damage to undead, while I have the damage to demons on laying of hands. I figure that I’ll need to give him a Guillaume’s Face with a Cham for deadly strike and crushing blow. I’ll have 80+% crushing blow, so I’ll wear Arreat’s. I hope it works as well as I think it will.
My Fant zealer has a frenzy merc that used Tals, Duriel, Head striker and a random cold steel eye while leveling. I just recently got far enough that he’s rocking full Sazabai with the head striker on off hand. He doesn’t have enough dex for LB pb so I use it myself on switch when I get to PIs. Still just playing solo thru hell act 2, but he does great and it’s full to see him frenzy with Fant!
Used one with my javazon before I got Infinity with plague (for breaking lightning immune - grief; treachery; (any helm with life leech) and he was pretty much immortal.
Not only he was immortal; he kills noticeably faster than my Act 2 merc with Infinty (I kill faster with Infinity because I don’t have to wait for plague to proc LR) . But the mercernary per se just rocked.
I loved that setup. Cleanse aura is sooooooooooo underrated. You can laugh at amplify magic; you are not force to use ravenfrost; poison damage… yea.
Loved that merc.
