In the original Diablo II, there were a few places to get runes and you could return and get more of them. Mid-level Amazon, just gaining momentum. Where to get them and where can I get info on “Rune Words” to create using socketed items?
My recommendation would be to watch some of Mrllamasc’s videos on runes. In general it’s difficult to farm high level ones and requires a lot of playtime and isn’t particularly consistent although there’s certain spots that can increase your overall odds if you farm enough. Countess in act 1 for example is considered a pretty good farming spot for runes. As for runewords I’d just look up a guide on that as well, it can vary depending on class/spec so you can find ones tailored specifically to what you’re playing.
