I need some advice. I have a HC 2-handed sword Concentrate Barb that is level 30 and just killed normal Baal. My character is struggling in nightmare and really need a weapon upgrade. I have runes to make Honor, but don’t have a base. I would really like to get a Zweihander, as it is guaranteed 5os with Larzuk quest. Any suggestions on where to farm?
i wouldnt worry too much about making an honor unless your doing offline single player… you can easily trade for things like bloodletter, or even get them tossed at you for free

Forgot to mention, I’m playing strictly SSF for this character, so no trading. Yes, this has been a pretty painful run. 
well in that case, a Zweihander is quality lvl 49.
so that means it needs to drop from a lvl 49 monster or area… so your best bet is NM tombs as that is the first area that is lvl 49.
they can also drop from norm minions of destruction though, they cant drop before wave 5 though

Thanks, I’m working towards the tombs.
The game should honestly just display item and monster levels.
For that matter, having variable stats of items, displayed from min to max in brackets, would be good too.

it can… if your in a terror zone it will display the area level, and every basic filter displays item levels, monster lvl might be a bit harder, but in hell they match the area level unless they are a champion pack and have + levels from that.
this is actaully extremely easy to implement and would hardly take any time on blizzards part. ( maybe a couple hours for a single person if they didnt already know the code) again monster lvl would be the hardest part.
every single d2 mod does this so do terror zones

norm and nightmare monster dont follow thier area lvl so you need to look those up individually on place like the arreat summit

Farming sword bases with single target Concentrate barb. Tough.
I envy the dedication to your cause :).
I made lvl 80+ frenzy barb SSF on ladder. No trading. No multiplayer. It was bit painful without /pX command. Made Unbending wills, Hustle armor. Then i abandoned the cause.
