Ok, so I have been playing offline with my barbarian and i am curious where do you think is best chance to find 5s phase blade or just phase blade for cube socketing.
My barbarian cant really effectively kill anything at this point. But i have strong enough fire merc to clear stony tomb well. I also run River of flames just objects/superchests a lot but no luck there. I can also do pindle. Well my act 2 merc can kill him i mean.
Cant do terror zones, cant respec, both forbidden in type of challenge i am running. I can of course use players x command.
If anyone has some tips, it would be nice. Idk if I should just do stony tomb or if there is anything faster how to eventuaky get it. I might also just try horking those dead bodies before pindleskin. Maybe that could be usefull, idk.
I’d cast my vote for chaos sanctuary/cows, but if your character doesn’t have that kind of firepower, I’d hit the Pit, I’ve tripped over a good few of them there.
I’d say Phase Blade being ilvl 73, I’d go for an area slightly above that that can drop other interesting things that is reasonably doable.
The first things that come to mind are Tower Cellar and Tristram, but if even those are too hard, I think Den of Evil would probably be easier while being surprisingly high level too (it’s ilvl 79).
I guess if you can do Stony Tomb reasonably well, then it’s your best choice out there. Maybe check how you fare with Mausoleum if fire is your main damage source at the moment, as that will avoid you mobs that resurrect or spawn other mobs, and only lightning and physical immunes spawn there (outside of elite modifiers, of course), though it requires going through Cold Plains to get to your grinding area.
Probably one of the best areas I can think of for sp barb should be flayer jungle. I remember farming for regular phase blades there to roll in cube for 5 sockets.
I know how to play a barb, I am looking for usefull tips how to get Phase blade with my limited options I have :). Just curious if there is more ideas i might have missed.
worry not how to get a 5sox phaseblade but rahter where would you get Mal Ist Ohm and Lo runes… you have next to no chance of finding two of each for a double grief…
You’ll probably have fater chance of rolling a rare crystal sword, dimensional blade or phase blade in a 6pskull “reroll a rare” cube recepie, into a one like Cooley recommends finding for his sub 2min barb uber trist runs.
It seems like Stony Tomb is a good option. Pit also seems reasonable if you can handle it, although it does have fire immunes. Do you have any way to stun monsters (barb cries) that might let merc do Cows?
River of Flame. I think some of his other guides/threads have talked about super chest farming there.
