Can’t tell ofcourse how messed up the code may is, but in general stacking with individual data for each item is no problem at all, and with an new currency tab from scratch touching legacy code should be avoidable.

Agreed I’d prefer that, but honestly I’ll take happily either. I really want to be able to delete my 5 rune and gem mules.

gonna be quite a lot of work because the unique ID is also part of what the system used to detect dupe, and remove the potential dupe if that exists. There’s a reason why everyone creates the renewed right away after any rune trade prior to leaving the game room.: to grand the runes a brandnew unique ID by turning the potential dupe runes into a new item (the rw)

Tab offer the same organization as stacking, you just have to set your ingredient ordered in tab first, if that’s too much for you then don’t claim falsehood based on your own limitations

Are you thinking that blizzard will provide an additional stash tab as part of your desired stacking mechanism?
Stacking by itself, with no change to stash tabs, would result in less space than a dedicated currency tab.
A dedicated additional tab for all runes/gems would save space.
Implementing both mechanisms would be ideal for the player. A dedicated spot to horde runes, gems, organs, and keys wealth. PLUS stackability for trading purposes. (200 keys for Ber)!
