Yeah they need to add the many chat channels that existed in old BNET back, as well as private channels, etc. Also show character levels in lobby. The character models look great.

You can create/join private channels with /channel join channelName
but command description is very poor, it doesn’t list ‘action’ words (“join” in this case)
And I also concerned that “Lobby” channels are language-local. We need at least an international “Trade” channel. Asia region has “Trade” channel (not only “Lobby”), but it is language-local as well. Europe/America servers have no public “Trade” channel at all. We can post trade offers in lobby, but again - it is language-local.
Hope, they fix that this week.

No, you cannot create a channel using /channel. It does nothing.

I think you used wrong syntax like this (it really does nothing):
/channel channelName

Y’all ever gonna give us a social system that’s at least on par with the one we got 23 YEARS ago? You know… channels, spaces to chat? And if it ain’t coming, why does “Lobby” exist?
Maybe just get rid of the darn thing if you’re going to let it languish in absolute mediocrity for almost 2 years?

but they just outfitted the chat to detect malicious content !! (we all thought it meant ban spam bots, it didn’t) … they do not care about lobby, that is what we have, that is what we get, deal with it peasant - the attitude i feel from blizzard.
Naw, they gotta do something about it. It’s just common sense to implement such a simple community feature. I’m hoping it’s coming with D4.
We need to be able to commiserate. I want to meet fellow Diablo players and be able to hop into a game with them.

Sorry, but locale and language make channels exclusive, not inclusive. Inclusivity is dying, thank god. Not everyone speaks multiple languages nor they wish to and as such should not be forced into it. Everything worked just fine before they screwed it up.
